Check to see if the cat is actually dead. If so, continue with plan to eat it. If not, give it cat-like intelligence, etc., as well.

It's moving. You aren't exactly in a position to take its pulse.

Remember: Dead things are corpses! Live things are not.

Befriend the cat, then. Make it some kitty food.

You don't have the Creativity to make food or the Soylent-Green to feed the cat, so you need to figure out some other way to comfort it...I know! You could try doing something you have no skill in whatsoever! That's bound to end-- [22-5][Skill: Novice Animal Handler] ...Actually, that did end fairly well. Huh. The cat? comes over to you. You pet it.

Now you have a pet cat?! Your party just keeps growing, doesn't it?

Ermh. Ok then. Sniff the paint 8 times, then eat some soylent green and bread. Put resulting vomit in the magic food machine, along with the vomit in the ?cat room.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Re: A Beginner's Guide: Surprise!--More Soylent Green
« Reply #177 on: May 08, 2013, 08:54:37 pm »

First, you name the cat? Curio.

Next, you get to work on your various stuff, sniffing paint and eating stuff.

"Um...Persana?
"What?"
"What are you doing?"
"Sniffing paint so I can make more stuff."
"..."

You then eat bread, and vomit in the machine. This creates--surprise!--more Soylent Green. You'd transform the vomit in the cat?'s old room, but you don't have anything to transport it in.

Create a chainsword with some of that extra creativity. We need a weapon.

In this game we can (theoretically) do anything, so we should make a chainsword-firing chaingun. It'll be perfectly safe.

Then we need a better vending machine. That dispenses fast food or something. And what's the Soylent Green made from, anyway?
