Speaking of coding, I might try my hand at that. Where do you guys suggest I should start?
I saw the wiki had some pages regarding coding, I'll look up those.
A good first project would be some sort of item. For instance, the first thing I coded was a motorcycle helmet.

The people have declared they want a daytime 2spooky. Get on the server for something that isn't welder for once and will most likely fail.

Its also a blatant ripoff of a popular game. I'll run a genuine 2spooky later in the night.

I just had my best shift as a Chaplain on tgstation.
To start off, I decided to goof around, and named the religion "Self-Adoration" with my character being the god of it.
Then, I grabbed welders, screwdrivers, everything I found and started playing around with doors.
Broke into the detective's office, got myself a fedora and some snazzy suits, and behold!
The detective left the criminal records without logging out, making me be able to mark him, the HoS, and the Captain as people to be arrested. I also stole myself a security radio headset and was laughing at them getting confused about Beepski trying to arrest them.
Anyway, the detective later found out that I played around in his office (somehow, can you lift fingerprints off of a criminal records computer?) and set me to be arrested.
HOWEVER, the cult just broke out, and I was immediately needed at the new base of operations (Brig) to bless a tankful of water. The warden chewed out the Detective for recording me to be arrested and he was promptly ignored afterwards.
Following this, the Captain granted me the best weapons and armour (along with the Warden) and all access.
After blessing that aforementioned tank, I slipped out to an escape pod since the Brig was being assaulted by juggernauts. The captain (and some other head) did the same too, as the shuttle was launched early.
Overall, I was pretty faithful to my religion and won the game too, since the cult couldn't summon Nar'sie or however it is written.

---

But now, a question: anyone knows any good European medium+ RP servers?
I'd really like some serious, non-laggy RP too after the handful of tg rounds.

Octobomb does science. Possibly a little too much science. Possibly needs to be toned down a little bit.
Sorry Scrdest. Remember kids, play with grenades sensibly! May or may not come with complimentary earplugs for the enterprising troublemaker.
E: Oh, dammit, windoor is still there. Scuse me, gotta go fix.

So those break windows and incapacitate people?
Ahahah, imaging lobbing that into a crowded escape lobby.

Hand the clown a box of them and a Gygax with a wormhole generator, gravitational catapult, and grenade launcher. Watch as everyone hates the unstoppable funny clown.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

Blatantly stealing bits of vamp code (I put a thank you in :P). On the windoor issue, it turns out that the reinforced ones are a child of non-reinforced one. If you look at the code below it's not actually quite that destructive. The problem is I can't find a way to not use the /brigdoor (the reinforced ones) child group but the others in the longer ranged smash. Otherwise I'm just going to smash them all.
Code: [Select]
for(var/obj/structure/window/W in view(3)) //Shatters nearby windows.
new /obj/item/weapon/shard(W.loc) //Blatantly stolen from the vamp code.
if(W.reinf) new /obj/item/stack/rods(W.loc) //Thanks scrdest/vg
W.Del()

for(var/obj/structure/window/W in view(6)) //Shatters regular windows
if(W.reinf) continue //I don't know how to do it in one for
new /obj/item/weapon/shard(W.loc) //So let's do it in two.
W.Del()
E: Alternately, I could just have it inflict damage. That would solve the problem, I think.
