I haven't read the thread, so, erm, I don't know anything. This probably makes me a bad person...

Drag the clerics along with me to the blacksmith and do jobs all day trying to get that sword. I WILL NOT QUIT UNTIL I HAVE A SWORD. Actually now that I think of it can I apprentice to the blacksmith and learn how to blacksmith and end up with more money and equipment? Even if it takes me forever to do so? Honestly a stable job for a while (which I guarantee I won't be able to keep due to the powers of being a PC) could seriously help down the road.

Gore which I then place into the coffin,

This games updating is gonna be shoddy for a while as college comes first. I'll still try to update as often as possible as I have time.

Assuming it's alive, there shouldn't be a problem.

Not dead. Sleeping for my last week in college. I'm really sorry but I'm just swamped [Which is now being added to possible start locales.]

To make up for the fact that this is on a hiatus of sorts I inform you of: The Combat Update.

This will add the option of taking direct control of your characters in combat allowing you to be a bit more influential on the matter. Obviously things you'd one shot or get one shotted by aren't options to fight BUT for those of us who got screwed over by rolls [Wyrm...] this should be welcome news. During combat you will be able to use spells and abilities. Furthermore movement speed is gonna be added during this time. This won't affect non-combat movement. Don't want to just hit? That's fine! You can simply shove something or do anything at all really within reason.

Hopefully this makes up for the lack of updates of late.

In regards to the combat update:

Every character will be gaining a few stats as well as certain spells are now considered "Miracles". Miracles relate better with the "Religion" skill while Spells do likewise with "Scholar"

Also now the metal composition and quality of your weapons [as well as weapon type] now have a more defined affect on how well they do. The same is true of armor.

Also there is a new skill that's being worked on BUT you won't be told what that is yet. So... Enjoy.
