Tiruin, you don't want to do that.
You'll starve. Which reduce your MAX health.
Which reduce the number of actions you'll be able to make.
Plus you need to relax, or else you'll lose happiness and end up depressed, which will halve your actions.

I strongly recommend you to Grow Food, Relax, and something else.
A good idea would be to research IFT, which let you more time for something other than growing food.
Also try to negociate a trinket, so you won't have to Relax every turn.

And yeah, Tiruin, you should probably grow food this turn. HOWEVER you can still /work/ on a prospect. I think you're more likely to be able to trade the result for a trinket (and then some) fairly soon, so instead of relaxing, do

If it weren't for the pests, you'd probably have been able to get a good deal on food, but alas.

It...isn't possible to subtly beg for 1 food, right? So someone can perhaps Tattle on me? :P I don't see a Trade time value however.
