As I stated, there were contradictory witness reports (even with each other) and ones that were completely false when placed alongside the physical evidence, which included some that shots had been fired in the car.  And all of it was reviewed by several people, so it might not be 'miscarriage' but instead, 'not what people wanted'.

NYC's got a couple hundred person protest originate down the street from my dorm. They have converged in Times Square, tho nothing violent has happened yet

There was a policeman on horseback in 2008 that intentionally knocked over a protester with his horse (veteran Nick Morgan) and made the horse stomp on his face.  Police then surrounded the unconscious guy and refused to offer help or allow anybody near him.  They claimed that they wouldn't assist or allow anybody to touch him until he asked for help himself.  His friends yelled for him to wake up for several minutes as he lay there bleeding profusely, but finally came around and said "I need help".  The police then threw him in the back of a van, and it was several more hours before they took him to a hospital.  He very nearly lost his eye, because the orbit was crushed and his eyeball was sinking into his sinus cavity.
