That car has made an explosion twice now. I hope it doesn't make a big boom because, shrapnel, everywhere.

Well, shit. I feel sorry for all the innocent people who are getting fucked over as a consequence of this.

This is why you try to avoid miscarriages of justice, legal system.

As I stated, there were contradictory witness reports (even with each other) and ones that were completely false when placed alongside the physical evidence, which included some that shots had been fired in the car.  And all of it was reviewed by several people, so it might not be 'miscarriage' but instead, 'not what people wanted'.

Miscarriage of justice or not, the violence helps nobody and doesn't help make things better.

NYC's got a couple hundred person protest originate down the street from my dorm. They have converged in Times Square, tho nothing violent has happened yet

Just saw this.  Lock your doors, barricade both them and the windows, keep a nose open for smoke.  I hope nothing happens to you.

I wonder where Wilson is now. I'd certainly want to be in a different state, or at least a different part of the state, if I was in his shoes.

The NYCPD is pretty good with the crowd control kind of thing though.

I should be fine, though the protest started around Union Square (where I'm at right now) Times Square is roughly 30 streets away.

No, Central.  People expect Northern.

I'm gonna keep hoping that nothing scales out of control.

And what do you mean by 'where you're at now'?  Is that where your dorm is, or are you blitzing back to it?

He apparently got married to a fellow officer last month, and is giving some serious thought to retiring. It's just so stressful, y'know?
