Looks like they're starting to bring in heavy equpment? Well, I saw what looked like might be a water cannon. They haven't started using that.

Using water cannons in the cold temperatures over there would be borderline cruel anyway.

Probably just a part of what they're using to bring people in.  If it starts to be used, on the other hand, then that's something different.

Some fires started north of the police station as well, but the area immediately around the station has apparently been cleared. Police are moving into that area in horse now.

Sounds like people are smashing every big storefront window they see or something. At least that sounds like what happened in the initial area.

That fire looks like it's starting to rage, and ooh, I think something electrical just exploded.

NYC's got a couple hundred person protest originate down the street from my dorm. They have converged in Times Square, tho nothing violent has happened yet
