((Sorry for the delay, this has remained silent for quite a while and I've been checking the forums less due to RL. Also, Cleanse All Debuffs shouldn't be listed as a mini-quest anymore since I completed it a while ago and gained Transcendence.))

"Let us do the unthinkable then." Russano says with a solemn voice, his face projecting a level of stern austerity he has never showed before. The Warlock slowly moves towards the warp crystal, snatches it unceremoniously and then leaves the place so that Kenjaro may do his thing.

Carry crystal away so Kenjaro may do his thing. If the crystal doesn't cooperate and decides to react violently for whatever reason, create an electrical cage to keep it away from directly touching anything I don't want destroyed.

Hmm, we need a way to get to Arcas quickly. Wait, I have just the idea!

Dominic quietly excuses himself from the room, and finds the admiral. "Greetings, sir!" He begins while attempting to replicate the salute previously used by Rusanno. "Do you happen to have any men under your command that are capable of transporting an entire ship across the sector? Now, I know this is a demanding task, but it is imperative. There is a threat that will consume the entire galaxy if left unchecked. It would be very much appreciated."

Attempt to find a method of transportation to Arcas.

It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Roll 112

Spoiler: superBlast, AKA Ryan (click to show/hide)

Caellath, AKA Russano Neskratt

It would indeed be imprudent to test the psi lock again. It was fortunate that you didn't lose anyone to the first explosion--yet. To willingly trigger it again while your whole party is huddled together inside the room would be unthinkable!

But then again, these crystals were meant to be picked up and carried by just about anyone. One just has to resist the temptation to try and tap its power. Considering that is exactly what the now-nonexistent pirate leader tried to do, there is no chance anyone here would attempt such a thing.

[4] You clasp your fingers around the crystal, but quickly pull away as it is too hot to the touch. [3+1] Instead, you form a wormhole beneath it and outside in the hall. The wormhole does not modify psionically in any way the objects passing through it, so there is no chance you'd trigger something by doing this. As the crystal falls through, you hear it bouncing around on the floor out in the hall, and leave the room to pick it up. Outside, Dominic seems to be asking the admiral for some assistance in travelling to Arcas. If Kenjaro is successful, though, you might not need it, you suppose.

Unholy_Pariah, AKA Kenjaro

[4] Tapping, a tendon in your ankle snaps, causing your leg to reactively curl up. Your power armor follows your leg, and as such you collapse to the floor. You'll deal with that later...

Martial Trance Active: 1 Stack(s)

[5+1] With your focus enhanced now that the crystal is removed, you try to direct Yellow's injures to yourself. Thinking momentarily about your injured leg, you inadvertently send the damage into your other ankle, snapping the tendon in that one as well.

However, Yellow opens his eyes and backs away from Jo.
"What the... oh..."
He stands up. Black reaches out with his hand and Yellow helps him up. The Fellowship is now ready to go.

...

superBlast, AKA Ryan

While the others deal with serious matters, you decide to upgrade a crap gun into a less crappy gun by mixing it with a non-crap gun. You're not sure if this is possible, but you might as well find out.

[6] You combine a generic assault rifle with your ArkFury. However, it seems to be doing what that hoverbike did in Aterrus, wherein they seem to be switching forms repeatedly. The horrific amalgamation stabilizes into two separate guns, one being a 6-round revolver assault rifle with only a full-auto setting and the auto-aim features of the ArkFury, the other being a pistol with a rifle caliber and a three-round-burst setting.

...

HEN, AKA Dominic Zoshan

The Admiral responds to your request with a bit of doubt.

"It would be imperative if the threat really is as big as you're making it out to be. But so far you haven't mentioned anything that could be a threat to the whole galaxy, let alone human space. Do you mind explaining?"
As you open your mouth to clarify, he stops you.
"Right, that. Perfectio told me. He said you were going to verify that the 'Fellowship' really was onboard the courier ship as they claimed. Before I do anything, I need to know at least that."

As the Admiral finishes, the Felloship emerges from the hallway, along with the others in your party. Adm. Ignatius turns to Russano, whom he asks, "Russano, I hear from Perfectio that this 'Fellowship' has... quite the story about what happened on Arcas. Apparently they camped somewhere inside the courier ship. Let us verify their claims by investigating that ship now. It is in dock 34."
Green points out that would be a bad idea.
"There's a warp crystal out on the floor in there. You might want to pick it up as well before something happens to it."
The admiral delegates the task of moving the red-hot crystal to one of his subordinates.
"My men will deal with it. Let's get going, shall we?"

...

The Epirus is quite outdated by today's standards. As a courier vessel, it is designed for the sole purpose of carrying information. That is, no cargo, no passengers. Just the minimum crew necessary to keep the ship running, along with a few emergency systems. Modern advances in automated repair systems have made manned courier vessels obsolete in the face of AI vessels with longer range, more speed, and greater reliability. The Epirus is slated for retrofitting as an AI vessel, having most of its life support and emergency systems removed and replaced with propellant tanks. It will take several years to perform the retrofit, and in the meantime it is being examined for clues as to what happened on the expedition.

Inside the carrier ship, the Fellowship leads our party to a set of sleeping bags, a portable refrigerator and oven, several electronic records stolen from the ship's computer, and some other miscellaneous utilities hidden inside one of the maintenance passages located in the heart of the vessel. The ship itself was in a striking state of disrepair, so the Fellowship's explanation that the Corrupted crewmembers never repaired the ship seems reasonable. All in all, Perfectio is convinced, as is the Admiral.

Yellow explains the Fellowship's future plans.
"Alas, it is time we part. I am able to send our Fellowship back to Arcas in an instant. The rest of you cannot follow as I have no knowledge of yourselves ever being on Arcas. You see, my ability to rollback time only extends to my own memories. However, it would be best if you send a vessel to Arcas, if only to rescue the expedition members left intact. We will be found on Origin, the place from which we all came."

"Uh.... right... that was wasn't what I hoped for..." Ryan mumbles at his now... not as effective weapons as they was before... Maybe a few modifications to each would make them far more effective... though not now since he heads for the ship they came here for with everyone else.

---

After heading into the courier ship and seeing it with everyone else, "So... we're going to this Arcus place then?" Ryan asks to know one in particular. He hopes he's not the only one getting slightly confused on what's going on...

Follow the group.

"Geez, i snap both my achilles tendons fixing that guy up and they all leave without so much as a thank you... some galactic heroes they are." Kenjaro mutters to hinself as he waits for his wounds to heal.

Once in a condition where he can stand again he makes his way over to courier ship and rejoins the group.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

[1] It seems that most of your peers have mistaken his fall to the ground as a way to focus his powers, much like how Russano observed Yellow meditating on the ground as he restored the city to its former state. As you mutter your words (amplified by your suit's speakers such that all can hear even though they are outside the hall), your condition comes as a surprise to both the Fellowship and the Aldrosian folk. Yellow walks into the room and offers to try to help, while the Admiral starts to call some medical personnel onto the scene.

"Do not bother calling a doctor Admiral, i would not have taken his injuries myself if i couldnt heal them afterwards.

I will be fine in a few minutes, that said i would appreciate it if you could help me into a more comfortable position while my tendons regenerate."

Have Yellow help me sit up against a wall, wait for wounds to heal then joon the others.

So now that we're moving into our next chapter, everyone levels up!

Also, please welcome Tiruin, who has been playing by PM for the past while. There's no reason for her to not be considered a member of the party by now, and if I intend for any meaningful dialogue to take place it seems that play-by-PM is a terrible choice. As what happened with Kenjaro, Jo will get extra skillpoints, although her psionics are not quite up to par with everyone else's... it may be prudent to save those skillpoints for later.

I've gone ahead and clarified some tooltips, somewhat reworking spells. Skill Points can now be added

Kenjaro--Level 4 Berserker
+Choice Pending+
Russano--Level 4 Warlock
+Choice Pending+
Dominic--Level 4 Gentleman
+Choice Pending+
Ryan--Level 4 Seeker
+Choice Pending+
Jo--Level 4 Guardian
+Choice Pending+
+Choice Pending+
+Choice Pending+

Despite confidently assuring everyone it'll heal, Kenjaro's injuries don't seem to have gone by the time the members of Fellowship finish speaking and themselves disappear in a great puff of smoke, leaving behind temporary ethereal forms much like before, when they were being executed.

Perfectio asks Kenjaro if he is still confident, since it has been more than a few minutes.

Anyhow, it's time to make plans.

You are currently located on the zero-G section of the Plaza, a medium-sized O'Neil cylinder functioning as a port town and a place to waste time while waiting for shuttles. Just out the window you view the Plaza in its entirety, half-consumed by basic service stations such as power plants, water treatment, and waste disposal. Few souls, if any, call this their home, and this is reflected in the lack of employment our housing. On the other hand, the streets are infested with thrift stores, equipment shops, bars, restaurants, and the occasional casino. The only official buildings are the police department office, a small hospital, and a large octagonal structure painted in Aldrosian green and dotted with sponsor logo and military insignias. This is the outer office of Legend Manufactories, an Aldrosian firm focused around the production of high-tech goods such as electronics and weapons, both small arms and ship-scale.

Should you choose to launch into outer orbit, you can stop at the Maximilian Hotel, an orbital colony intended mainly for tourists, or the Aldrosian navy's primary R&D hub and planning center, the Tokamak (named for its distinctive shape).
Aldros II's sole moon, Andrea, is the location of the system's major shipyard, where you can outfit your ship, purchase another, or look toward finding another means of transportation.
Aldros I is a scorched, rocky planet with sizeable mining activity and a major fuel depot.
Aldros III is an ice giant exploited for its atmospheric fusion fuel as well as its vast moon system. There is a significant colony on its largest moon, Avignon noted for a significant Reizer Corp. office. Reizer specializes in robotics and AI systems, and is looking for an official partnership with Legend thanks to their longstanding cooperation.

Nearby systems include Amalia, an independent system with a large current population of Amrili nomads (their experise in psionic matters could prove useful), and Zion, a quaint white star with an ongoing Ross-funded terraforming project.

Life tap in an attempt to trick my body into thinking its in combat then focus entirely on healing my tendons.

Failing that use an essence transfer to pawn the injury off on someone else, preferably a captive pirate..

Once in good shape head over to the black market.

((So Tiruin was Jo? Man was I way off... I was thinking Tiruin was Black lol... Anywho, I vote we go somewhere with a librabry for extra skill points.))

"I'll go and uh... take a look at the shops until we figure out what to do next. Just call my communicator if you need my help or we're leaving," Ryan says before walking off to where most of the stores are loacated. Though instead of shopping, he just looks for a bench to sit on. He's not really interested in shopping at the moment, but rather wants to continue modifying his weapons to suit him better.

Find an empty bench to sit on. Take the Arkrifle and UPGRADE to a lightweight sniper rifle form, with a longer barrel and a sniper scope and adjust the auto-aim to work with a sniper rifle. Then try UPGRADing the Riflefury to have a full auto mode, a recoil reducer (in the hopes it eliminates all recoil), and have an auto-aim like Arkrifle has.

And I doubt I could do more but... if I can, access the Arkrifle's auto-aim system (and if the upgrade went well, the RifleFury too) to have two settings, lethal and non-lethal. Instead of it always being set on lethal like it seems to be like.

"Now that we have free time, I may as well hone in my powers a bit."

Take a granite dagger, and practice duplicating it. Attempt to create more outlandish properties on the copies.

Assuming the duplication succeeds, sell the copies to any willing buyers.

((It seems I'm the one holding things up this time around. And do I keep that angry warp crystal?))

Check whether there's something to make our ship faster and more resilient/capable of defensive measures in case we're using the same as the last. If we're shipless, search for a good one to purchase/rent/requisition.
