I think the computer terminal in the labs is a quest thing. I used a black box with one, and got a black box transcript, but it didn't do anything.
Black boxes and their accompanying transcripts are used for an NPC quest.

The answer to all hostile creatures is simply run them over. Acquire car, all critters become mobile resource depots.
FOR NOW!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

(Seriously, one of the eventual goals is to make vehicles take realistic damage upon colliding with other objects, though who knows how long until we actually get around to doing it. :P)

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead - A fun zombie survival rougelike that I'm dev-ing for.

It's realistic enough, just make the cars take a lot more damage for hitting a creature

Spoiler: this (click to show/hide)

big.

From what I heard, it sounds like the new version have tons of Jabberwocks.
One would imagine a legendary beast would be more uncommon.

To my knowledge the 0.6 "Samedi" release has ridiculous amounts of the dreaded Jabberwock, to the tune of each forest tile having a 1/300 chance of Jabberwock spawning. The bleeding edge builds have that reduced to I think 2% chance of one spawning per overmap tile. I could be wrong, didn't fact check this answer before posting. If another dev could correct or confirm that would be appreciated.

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

Seeing how almost everyone saw a Jabberwock, the RNG must be nuts.

Based on the wiki, you just throw things with it. It will automatically shoot the stuff, assuming its made of metal, taking one power, increasing damage and range, and leaving behind electricity.

Edit: Starting with 4 survival, tailoring 2, a 12 intelligence, and rummaging about for a car, you can pretty much get yourself set from the getgo if you just run over deer and dogs for sinew, bones, and fur, let alone all the meat.

The Jabberwock in the game isn't actually the dragon from the book. Its a hideous amalgamation of undead corpses of both human and woodland creatures.

Man, the Railgun seem to suck. 4 points, 8 points.

I tried using Steel Crossbolt, but it throw the entire stack of ten.

I wouldn't be surprised if that were intentional. Cataclysm had a lot of superfluous pop-culture references, and C:DDA is worse in that regard.

They aren't particularly like that at all based on their description, and the name Jabberwock comes from them being part of a quest where you are sent out to kill the dire beast that roams the woods.

As i usually run to butcher any of those i kill, i have not noticed a zombie revive yet.

So how much time do you have before a zombie you killed but didn't smashed/headshotted/butchered will revive ?
