Change to English keyboard if you're on windows.

Huh. Here I were, abusing dozens of poor wrecks with a trusty infiniwelder, then the game flipped out and went dark. Loading the autosave leads to debug messages concerning artifacts, all cars being gone and the explored areas reset.

Redownload time!

Load your game, press [?], then follow the instructions of how to change key commands.

For some reason, this version keeps freezing for long times every so often, for no reason in particular that I can identify.

Redownloaded today, but it still happening.

Is it the "the program is not responding" white-window error, or just a blank screen?

It just freezes. It seems to be responding, because no "this program is not responding" thingie pops up and it can still be exited normally, but the in game screen just suddenly becomes completely unresponsive to new commands, as if it was working really hard and using up all the computer brain power - but there is no reason this should be happening. Super lag, I guess. The screen doesn't black out or anything.

Could you please edit old posts instead of posting new ones right after each other? It's general manners on most forums as far as I know.
With vehicles the only way to tell how the parts are is by interacting with it to bring up the construction menu.

The general rule is that it's broken unless it's in a carpark.

You can look at a vehicle with "x" and it'll show you all the parts on that tile as well as their general condition (Via color).

Not necessarily, it's a small chance, but it's possible for a vehicle to be working and just not have any very much/any gas in it. My general procedure is if you see a vehicle you like that has it's wheels then examine it and check the engine (which is the other thing that might be missing). If the engine is there then check the fuel.

This is also a good reason to carry around a jerrycan or gallon jug of gasoline if you get the chance, it lets you revive any good vehicles you find.
