(Ugh, I step out for a few hours and the thread explodes with posts. I'm... just not going to bother with RP, I already missed all of it anyway. I mean, Irony, Dwar, and Gun aren't even on right now... >.<)
Talon ignores all the in-fighting going on among the strangers and checks to see how much gold he has. Clearly if the dream was meant for only one of them, as one had suggested, it was meant for him and he needed to make sure he was properly equipped for an adventure.
You laugh inwardly knowing that you are obviously the hero. You lean against the wall and check your coin purse. Hmmm... there only seems to be a few gold pieces OH BUT WAIT WHATS THAT?!?! Oh... it's just a piece of lint. (You have 15 gold) You swear to yourself cursing the gods for the thief that stole your gold and then you remember that the Troll tried to out drink you and you had to show him up. Bloody moutain people!
Ganhus watches the others as they make idle conversation while doing their best to ignore him. He knew he made others uncomfortable with his hulking stature and gruff appearance. He shifted his weight and emitted a low growl as he pondered the immensity of the undertaking.
Ganhus wonders where we would even begin on such a journey. He has no need for steeds or pack animals, but the rest of you would be quite helpless attempting such a long journey on foot.
You shift uneasily not liking this kind of confrontation you tell the others that they won't be able to keep up with you, you meant it to be a conversation starter but the Wargal takes it as an insult and brandishes his axe at you. You try not to but a smirk appears on your set features and you think
silly bear man not hurt me with small toyLower my axe.
"My people may know no magic mage but not make the mistake of thinking we are fools.
There is a reason why even the emperor has not tried to exterminate us.
You should remember next time you consider us to be stupid that we have survived a long time on the strength of our blade arms I'd be happy to demonstrate if that is not clear enough for you."
Turn to the elf.
"Your knowledge of my peoples customs is impressive, might I know the name of the elf who knows so much of my people?"
You are becoming angered at almost everybody because they are insulting you in some way. You do what all Wargals do and threaten them with your axe expecting them to back down but it doesn't even seem to phase them, the Troll even laughed at you! You are ready to swing you weapon when...
"I suppose I could buy a horse." Nárira adds, shrugging.
Action: Nárira goes to do just that, asking the bartender where some transportation might be purchased.
You get up to ask the kepper where a horse may be purchased when you notice something odd, he is not in. You think that is strange because when you look outside you deem it to be 10:00 a.m. You have been to other mixed cities like this and usually an inn would be bustling with people at this time. "Where is everyone?"
Aristarsta glanced at the elf, her posture unchanged from before the Wargal's outburst. She decided to hold her tongue in deference to the elf's efforts.
You sit silently letting the others bicker while thinking about your magical career, when Nárira aks a perplexing question. You are not sure what the normal customs are for a town like this, growing away from these different peoples you are interested in learning though so you sit stalk still.
