PTW, I liked 10ebbor10's previous games ;)

Like salvation???
Wussat? I meant... some other postapocalyptic deal, not quite sure what it was.

I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

You're rebuilding civilization ? That could be it.

Anyway, who will be our player character. It's quite important.

angleworks, a  human who's ability in structural planning in one of the best of the best  though he has a odd fetish for "elfs mechanical titan sized doom machines" ((lol)) it doesn't really affect his authority and effectiveness  he has a interest in making a new power source using lava  (( can we make what ever the fire element is using lava?) and then selling the power in electricity and battery's. he has a solid interest in making himself remembered in the best possible way: mechanical defense matrics, ludicrously sized zeppelins and  ludicrously sized statues of himself.

Nah, not always. Had plenty of failures as well. (In fact, I only finished one of the games I ran.)

Now, quit praising me and start suggesting some characters.

There might be mermaids of the Cuthulian variety. No nice disney esque mermaids though.

No elves Wer.
I've never read (played?  Watched?) Clockwork Empires, so I'm not entirely sure what the empire is like, other than what you've told us.
So could we be Cthulu?

I haven't played it either, mainly because it's still in development.Linkie

Edit: Madness now needs to be added to the list of energy producing substances. (Probably a late game thing though)

He would make a good leader, but can we have individual characters each of us can roleplay as?

I think our char should be a nameless faceless non entity. Like in DF, and presumably CE itself.

Technically, I suppose you could claim one of the specialists. However, I'm not a computer, so I can't keep track of hundreds of different detqils.

The control thing is kinda nameless. Doesn't mean you don't have to come up with a colony leader.
