Indeed, now you see you and all of the younger race's folly. You hide behind shreds of sanity and expect the multiverse to protect you and rage when it does not. You give tell yourself that certain things cannot happen, will not happen and yet all around the multiverse they do. You convince yourseleves that terrfying blackness of the space between is smoke and mirriors when compared to your reality but in fact the oppsite is true. Your sainty is a think shield that could work agianst you if the curtains of "reality" were ever pulled away and the truth revealed.

A crude way of putting it but yeah, pretty much. Say, I'm assuming that you have a base of operations somewhere near here and that you have a library. I think my search for the Goddess will go much better if I'm with an adventuring party

After teaching the cutebolds how to cut and fold cloth the way he wanted - they learned reasonably fast and didn't cut their own fingers - Barth left them in a place in the ship he thought they would be safe before leaving the airship to take a bath at the brook nearby.

A medic always had to be clean, and the fact many things seemed keen on killing both him and his companions didn't hinder the young man in maintaining his habits. It reminded him a little of his own home, although with a higher degree of strangeness happening.
