The dream started with me going to a friend's house and watching them play "Civilization V". It was not a 4X game, but rather consisted of a British actor I've seen but don't know the name of walking around on a ship in period clothes and complaining the ship's too small.

Afterward I went to a high school. It was the first day back from winter break, you see. During the daily pledge-of-allegiance thing, they made the students hide behind bookshelves and magazine racks for some reason. I then found out that a candy bar gifted unto me yesterday had actually been given to me by some Asian kid I'd never met, because apparently my brain is into personal-history revisionism.

After this there was a total shift in tone when it became a reverse whodunnit after somebody got killed in the principal's office and I somehow instinctively knew Kristoph Gavin from Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney was behind it. I was suddenly James Bond now, sneaking around the school to find evidence to convict Kristoph with. At that moment, I got caught by a surveillance camera. M helped the guards who came catch me for some reason.

I came to in the janitor's closet, where some guy was tied up in there. Just as I untied them and started asking questions, I woke up.

5/7 would dream again.

Doubleposting for the sake of sharing more dreams/front page bump.

I had two dreams; in one dream, I got a college degree to teach physics at a high school, but I apparently never took any physics courses, because apparently in dreamland getting a degree in teaching a subject doesn't require you to know anything about what you're going to teach.

My other dream involved Donald Trump at my grandmother's house for some reason. While he was there, Gordon Freeman jumped out of a closet and beat the hell out of him with a crowbar, which was... satisfying.

We need a thread for Donald "that guy" Trump. Perhaps call it "Note to Trump"?

I think we all need Surprise Gordon Closets to take care of unwanted guests. :v

Also this night, i had a slightly unusual dream, in that it wasn't actually completely whacked out. In this dream, i got a glimpse of myself as i'd be if i were without social anxiety. Thankfully, contrary to what i'm kind of fearing (that i'd turn into a huge asshole the moment i lost my fear of rejection), i was actually a cool guy, with things like greetings and "later dubes" coming naturally instead of me having to plan it all in advance. That, and i wasn't afraid of making jokes at my own expense in front of what amounted to maybe half a classroom's worth of peers. It was nice, and goes to show that my brain does know what it's like to not be shy and/or anxious. Now to carry that out to meatspace. :P

People were collecting pieces of divinity from dead gods. They were like green triangles.

I don't know why my dream-self went on a god-harvesting spree.

Huh. That is... an odd coincidence. I had that same general subconscious inspiration, which I turned into fluff for a mafia game.

I had at least one cool dream last night.
Sadly I remember barely anything of it, but I know I and one or two companions were killing a whole bunch of rather dangerous zombie/demon people. I vaguely remember it being somewhat videogame-y, I think we replayed some levels multiple times, but I'm not sure.

I know my main sidekick was kinda cute. Unfortunately she wasn't into dream-me despite his mad zombie-killing skillz. Alas.
Also there was at least one moment where we tried to use stealth to kill some zombies without alerting the rest of them, which was kinda hard since I don't think we had any bladed/melee weapons.
I do remember using my pistol (which seemed to have plenty of ammo, there was one moment where I thought 'shit, I don't have any more clips, do I?' but then decided 'Let's just pretend I brought one in my back pocket', and proceeded to pull one out of said pocket. A lucid moment perhaps?) as a club at least once, just firmly gripping it around the handle/trigger guard and jabbing with it.

Pretty sure there were boss battles, too. Where we took on some of whatever demons/mages were causing the whole infestation.
Unfortunately, that's all I can remember. There was a lot more to it. :(

Wow! This thread is almost like dream diary, but with further discussion. I should try to organize myself and become a regular poster here.
To begin with: in a dream I had few nights ago I was just about to start fighting with a powerful magician. We were standing against each other, holding our hands high, ready for the spells. Suddenly my opponent relaxed, sank his hands and said in a humdrum voice: "You lost."
The next moment my alarm clock rang and I woke up. It truly felt like he threw me out of his reality. I can easily belive it was real. This is the most amazing dream I had so far. I mean the intensity of perception, not the story line, of course. That's it.

I only noticed this isn't common--but that's me assuming because I thought it was common in the first place xD
Um...is there some kind of 'constant time difference' or...say, 'you have better dreams at this timespan'?

Because I've noted over the years--concurrently and continuously, that I keep having better dreams from 5-8am if I sleep during that time [usually when sleeping beforehand]. As an added note, I usually always [as in...80% of the time], tend to wake up minutes before my phone alarm ._.

I'm wondering if there's a common term for this or something.

You and I, too ._. I tend to remember my dreams through the whole day before they get mixed with all my other memories.

People usually remember dreams better after waking up and going back to sleep, yes.

First time in a while I had proper sleep and a dream.

As Roman Emperor I had to deal with another round of scheming, shouting and warring between the Senators on yet another useless Senate meeting that tried to get rid of me on 'legal basis' because some 'fraudulent charges' where put on me (I don't speak lawyerish, no idea), the whole circus led by prominent guy called Lucius. After hearing their constant droning for a while I had enough of it and of course left tehroom and asked the nearest guard to go hire me some armed men.

After brushing off some persistent wives and children of few prominent senators ("The session will end soon, go home"), my peacekeepers arrived and I let them into the Senate chamber with direct instructions of getting rid of that black hole of factionalism and conspiracy inside. One of the soldiers gave me a spare chainmail which I promptly began wearing.

The senators must've known what's going on because few have been killed, several fled and most began to pull out daggers and clubs from beneath their togas (damned old guys!) and massive fight ensued. What's worse, some armed senators fled the chamber and bumped onto me so I had to flee into one of the side corridors filled with traps and magical devices.

In the corridor I animated a chimera statue to life (it killed two Senators on spot), then prayed to statue of St.Peter which came to life and began spewing plasma bolts at Senators. An aztec-mouth-arrow-spitting-trap also scored few dead Senators while Jove himself infused my gladius with powers of thunder so I could protect myself better from the savage elderly...

...Unfortunately for me this whole situation began to grow bad anyways as I noticed that number of my soldiers and hired blades is dwindling rather rapidly while Senators' group is still going strong. After a brave fight in which I punched a one Senator's skull in and then stabbed another, I activated the teleporter fountain and transported home (you should read more history books if you didn't know that ancient Romans had teleporters, duh!) before Lucius and others could pounce on me.

Woe! The moment I arrive at my fancy villa I see that it is under attack by some Celtic warriors and buncha mercenaries. I got shot in the side by an archer but the chainmail that I wore (and which I forgot about already) protected me from a nasty wound. I directed the captain of my guard to prepare the onagers while I picked up a bow myself and shot my assailant who was hiding behind some pine trees. The mercenaries and celts then begun their charge as my captain of the guard had me escorted inside my villa.

Then my alarm clock woke me up, unfortunately.

I ended up having a dream where I deduced from 12 hours of suddenly forgotten events that I was dreaming. But instead of going on a power trip I was stuck with my imaginary friend (well the friend is real but the one I was stuck with was like them except imaginary and therefore filtered through what I know about them) kind of moping about the meaningless and very finite span of that existence.
GG me nice way to wake up on a down note.
