((Sorry, the farthest right mutant was the one that went for Rain.  I think this allows for a rather delightful little irony in the edited post though.))

((Oh ok, I just didn't look like that to me. At least she's not ripped up bad and can help shoot one of them!))

"Some help would be nice!"

Fall back to between Rain and Ethan, next to the fire, and smash the first one that comes close!

Attack roll: 1d20+3 → [15,3] = (18)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3733010/

Damage roll: 1d6+3 → [1,3] = (4)
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3733013/

((Of all times to roll a 1 on damage...))

As the claws rake across Troy's torso he snatches his baton and ferociously counterattacks his assailant.  Unfortunately he hits with more fury then power and limps towards the fire chagrined.

You are already spotted, not a viable plan.

((Okay.... I guess you hide again.  On to turn 2.))

The shouts of another batch of mutants echo down the tunnel.

Rain brandishes her hatchet and steps between the mutants and Troy.  She takes a swipe at the closest one but it backsteps out of reach and leaves her connecting with nothing but air.

Kat slotted another bolt, hurriedly turned the crank with a grunt, and aimed at the Furthest Right Mutant once again-working down the line.

Seeing Rain in the front made her nervous-but it steeled her will.

((Burning an Action point for +1d6 to my Attack Roll on this turn. Now 3/5

((@Dwarmin: I thought we gained some more after the level-up instead of having them refilled. I remember reading that after they were gone, they were gone for good. Posting soon, by the way. Connection issues and work.))

Ethan once again swung his longsword at the mutant closest to him, hoping it would not dodge like a ninja this time.
Rolls:
1d20+3; 1d8+3 → [9,3] = (12)
1d20+3; 1d8+3 → [8,3] = (11)

As if predicting the attack would sorely miss once again, Ethan changed its course halfway through the strike, swinging the blade straight towards the mutant.
Action Point Roll, added to Attack [Now 4/5]:
1d6 → [6] = (6)

((Can someone else roll for me? The RNG hates me indeed. :P))

((Cael: Hmm. Going by the MSRD, which I hope is accurate...

Quote
A character always has a limited amount of action points, and while the character replenishes this supply with every new level he or she attains, the character must use them wisely.

That doesn't specify which is which. I guess it's up to the GM, but I'd want to discourage AP hoarding personally.

I mean, you could blow an AP right now Cael-that likely miss will become a likely hit. :P))

((@Dwarmin Your character is not Rain, like it says in your turn, it's Kat. :P And I didn't know about how to use these action point thingies, so knowing how to now is very cool! Thanks!

@Caellath For the amount of damage you'll do if you hit this round, I think it's worth burning up a point. Your so close to getting a hit as it is and we got trouble coming down the tunnel after us, so I think it's worth it.

Something just occured to me... I thought these things were weak to light? Why are they gathered around a fire?))

Troy sucked a breath in and growled. He had taken worse and the girls needed him more than ever right now, judging from the sounds coming from the tunnel. Moving forward once again, he pulled Rain behind him and readied his baton again.

"We got company in the tunnel! Get a molotov ready for them!"

Switch places with Rain and attack the middle mutant. Spend an action point!
