We could always create a carryover system for points. To allow for assistance to count down the road. If theres nothing you want this time, or you cant get the points for a share of the goods. I'm sure we'll all group together to do other missions.

That said. 3 votes for harassing. Lets carry on then Ebbor.

Turn 10: Continuation of combat(miniturn)

((Sorry for the delay. Should be solved now, and sad that there isn't much of a turn. Combat is much rolls and few interesting, as I don't show the dozens of rolls that don't have any effect.

Note that this is indeed a new turn. (In fact, I was planning to run a full turn this time too, but that didn't really work out. My fault for not paying attention, I suppose.)))

World news
Caravan raid 1:
-4 regulars (1 wounded)
-4 Apprentices(5/5), 2 Brigands, 4 cloaks (Regulars and brigands) (2 wounded)
-2 brigands, 2 regulars (1 hurt), Garret Darkwater
-2 regulars
-1 apprentice(5/5), 2 regulars

You try to harres the enemy which seems to be going quite well.  Hasidor's minions manage to recover their cloak, and the continual harrasments prevent the caravan from making much progress.  However his minions continue to take casualities for their efforts, and another regular is cut down, though his cloak is recovered.

Some more skrimishes further down the road wound some others, and the minions morale is further improved when one of their leaders arrives on the battlefield. In the end, the enemy cavalerie has been all but eleminated. However, your troops notice to late that there's one soldier unaccounted for. One of them seems to have been able to escape in the dark, possibly gathering reinforcements at this very moment. Seems like you'll have to finish this battle quickly, or not at all.

Enemies
18 foot (2 wounded)
1 cav (1 wounded)
2 elves
5 dwarves

Spoiler: Loot (click to show/hide)

2 weeks till the caravan reaches their destination.
A: Hearing the news of what happened to the previous caravan, this caravan has gained extra security
B: Currently travelling through some mountains, making for a good ambush spot Destroyed
C: Travelling through foggy marches, forcing them to abandon a small part of their escort [Destroyed]

((Well you already posted our turn information back a bit. So just needs a little bookkeeping. Like my minion count being updated.(-2 Reg, +1 bard)))

2 Bards plot.
Hire 2 Regulars.
Personal Research: Entangling Vines (Lets take this to the hoop!)

4 Apprentices, 2 Brigands (Cloaks to Apprentices), Hit the caravan.

Okay guys, The numbers look reasonable. We have 19 dudes, + a Leader. Minus... the 4 wounded. So 15 and a leader. + a potential 4 more from Lemon10. Very good shape I'd say.
They have 23. Looks alright.

I say we open with a salvo on the dwarves, and once those are out of the way we move to full combat.
Lemon10 you good with Rapid Growth to me for my Entangling Vines? It should give us some serious power behind my apprentices.

Where are we currently keeping the pile of loot we re-appropriated from the other caravans? Is it being carried around with the group attacking the caravan now, or is it safe if we keep attacking and lose?

I'm in favor of going for it, but I've only got 4 guys to contribute, so...

I will throw my regular minions in.
I will only throw my main wizard in if I get level 1.5 of entangling vines for giving him 1.5 contribution points, or a suitably good offer from someone else.
The reason for this is that I wouldn't really get much out of it anyways, almost certainly less then I would get from just staying in and researching.

Tentative turn:
Self:Cast Animate Plant twice, summon two small trees
Apprentice: Cast Animate Plant, summon a small bush
4 regular minion: Assist in the battle, only speak elvish and refuse to talk to anyone else due to being elvish snobs

4 regulars: Assist in attacking caravan
Self, Junior Wizard, Apprentice: Research Summoning
Trader: Illegal business

Recruit 2 regulars

EDIT: Also Terenos, if I might ask, where do your research goals lie?

I was plotting to do great work in engineering. Which I have already begun to do. I was also interested in necromancy, at least a little. That will probably be my main magical focus.

Mundane engineering specifically or engineering as a superfield?
