I just had a Minotaur try to attack my fort. He was shot at by a mechanic with a crossbow, but dodged the shot. By dodging, the Minotaur fell off the path, and promptly tumbled down 30 flights of stairs, landing at the bottom in 6 pieces.

Just prior to this, a butcher fell off the same path, but landed on the ground, which hadn't been channeled all 30 z-levels yet. I can just picture him lying on the ground, left arm and both legs broken in two places each, laughing his head off as the Minotaur takes a dismembering tumble down the stairs.

If I remember correctly I saw him say something about schooling somewhere in this thread. If it's college, give him a bit we are in full swing around the country/world, and pretty damn buisy with it. Or I could be wrong and he disappeared... In which case someone needs to continue on in his place. Badly drawn art is great. Mostly....

Goombas don't end up dieing from that, I mean. People think they do, but the goomba always returns the next time you play the level. (Sometimes, after leaving and coming back to the area)

To test some new stuff in one of my mods, I've currently got a fort going at the edge of a haunted hill.  It is, naturally, often attacked by undead ravens.  The most recent such attack included the following combat report:

The Raven Corpse bites The Stray war Orel* in the left upper arm, bruising the muscle through the large honey badger leather cloak.
The Raven Corpse latches on firmly!
The flying steel bolt strikes The Raven Corpse in the lower body, tearing the muscle and tearing apart the stomach!
The Raven Corpse is propelled away by the force of the blow!
The Raven Corpse slams into the Raven Corpse!
The Raven Corpse slams into an obstacle! (The ground.)

This was followed by several lines of the other raven corpse skidding across the ground, although it wasn't killed by the trip.

*Orels are a modded creature, vaguely humanoid, with pointed ears and a tail.
