Rorrim: Be satisfied. Move up the nearest passage way and pull Baradine along when he's done. Move up to Zalgus.

Baradine: Purge the area with juggling fireballs! Them plants!

Trael released the door and stepped back, not wishing to test the strength of the magic binding him together.
"I suppose it is controlled from elsewhere, then. Hrm." He turned and looked around again, methodically searching the room. "Too much time has been wasted already."
>Look again for another path, opening the door I didn't come through and checking what's on the other side. If it looks promising, proceed.

Try to open and enter the door.
You push the door open, and move into the empty doorway. The benches, shattered glass, and lingering stenches lead you to believe that you have entered the remains of an alchemical laboratory.

Step away from the sand and tie the half-brick to the top of the hammer, away from the smashing faces.
You get back onto the balcony, and start your handicraft.
Tie half-brick to hammer (1d6=3)
With the dagger still dangling on the rope, and the half-brick not being quite the right shape, you doubt that it would remain fixed very long if you did it.

Rorrim: Be satisfied. Move up the nearest passage way and pull Baradine along when he's done. Move up to Zalgus.

Baradine: Purge the area with juggling fireballs! Them plants!

Is it your imagination, or did the cut flowers stop wilting when you stopped cutting? Eh, probably just your imagination. "Hey Baradine, do me a favor and burn down this crap? I'm off to find... Zalgus."
Find Zalgus (1d6=1)
You wander into the jungle, and wander, and wonder if you are los... hang on!
What the? (1d6+1=5)
Whew. A Lashwillow. Quite rare, and carnivorous, for that matter. You stopped just outside its attack radius, thankfully. You wonder what it might eat in here, though...? Perhaps that which is chittering somewhere farther away?

Baradine, meanwhile, sets the cut flowers on fire...
Fire! (1d6+1=6)
The flowers burn away quickly. Oh dear, some of the undergrowth catches fire as well. Surely, soon much of the jungle will be ablaze. And is that chittering Baradine hears in the distance?

Trael released the door and stepped back, not wishing to test the strength of the magic binding him together.
"I suppose it is controlled from elsewhere, then. Hrm." He turned and looked around again, methodically searching the room. "Too much time has been wasted already."
>Look again for another path, opening the door I didn't come through and checking what's on the other side. If it looks promising, proceed.
"Or maybe you just require more muscle..."
Check for hidden paths (1d6=6)
You go about tapping the walls of the room to no avail. You dig into the sand but quickly get to the solid ground...
"Huh? How'd that work, then?"
Larry's sudden question makes you forget what you were trying to achieve.

Also still waiting on level-up for Rorgrin.

Examine the laboratory in more detail, in particular looking for things to steal loot and places it might lead to.

More HP for the lvl up.

Oh and attempt to fix the rope to something before climbing down the sand to Trael.

If polearm reach > Lashwillow reach: Collect a 'prize' from it.

If not: Rorrim shall backtrack and find the source of said sound.

Baradine shall cackle and compare himself to Zalgus in a wizard-like way. Training his Fiery Weaponcraft

Examine the laboratory in more detail, in particular looking for things to steal loot and places it might lead to.
Examine laboratory (1d6+1=2)
You revise your opinion, despite having no evidence for this. Clearly this was an illicit distillery rather than a laboratory.

More HP for the lvl up.

Oh and attempt to fix the rope to something before climbing down the sand to Trael.

Fix rope (1d6+1=7)
You tie the rope to the balcony rail. Not just the rope, as it happens, though, but your right arm as well.

Also trait gained - Hard Hitter

If polearm reach > Lashwillow reach: Collect a 'prize' from it.

If not: Rorrim shall backtrack and find the source of said sound.

Baradine shall cackle and compare himself to Zalgus in a wizard-like way. Training his Fiery Weaponcraft

Polearm versus Lashwillow is simply no contest. The branches on that thing... Better find out were the sounds come from.
Backtrack (1d6+1=3)
The sounds seem rather distorted, and some other sound also interferes. Sounds a bit like a big fire?

Train (1d6+1=7)
Baradine considers his standing in the wizardly arts in comparison with Zalgus. Well, in all humility, Baradine probably cast more spells over the course of the adventure, and he may be more prone to improvisation. Speaking of which, time to delve into the book. Yes.... yes... Baradine feels closer to being able to understand that new spell. Wait, didn't he forget something, like setting the garden on fire? Or chittering noises? Oh dear. A great wall of fire on one side, some strange insectoids on the other.

Loot the distillery, then!

And keep searching for those other exits or any clues.

Sort of wiggle around to try and dislodge the rope.

Trael watched the dangling human for a moment with something approaching dull amusement within his tortured skull, then turned and headed for the nearest door, checking if the other side looked like it went somewhere promising.

>Keep searching for a way further into the keep. How many doors were in here, again?

((Sorry, had work. Also, I am so very lost at the moment. :P))

Rorrim: Head back to Baradine's position, get him over to Zalgus along with myself! Protect him if any harm comes.

Baradine: "Smoke! You insects won't stand it!"

Direct the smoke of the flames over to those insects while keeping away from the flames.

Loot the distillery, then!

And keep searching for those other exits or any clues.

Loot? (1d6=4)
Hmm, that cauldron there is simply too large. The splinters of course aren't valuable enough to loot. That thin book that seems to be have been kicked deep under the shelves? Maybe if you could reach it...
But before you try, you look for exits. The door you came in through... and that seems to be it.

Sort of wiggle around to try and dislodge the rope.
Wiggle free (1d6=6)
You wiggle around, loosening the rope and... oww! You think you dislodged your arm instead. (-1 to physical rolls until you recover; recovery through automatic rolls each turn, requires a 4+.)
Well, at least you're free.

After the digging spree, you are quite certain that the only doors and other exits in this room are the door you came in from, and the liftable door on the opposite side. Or being a gildengleam, apparently.

Rorrim: Head back to Baradine's position, get him over to Zalgus along with myself! Protect him if any harm comes.

Baradine: "Smoke! You insects won't stand it!"

Direct the smoke of the flames over to those insects while keeping away from the flames.

Head back (1d6+1=3)
Well, that's kind of embarrassing, you don't remember which direction back is.

Baradine desperately tries to fan the smoke over to the insectoids. They continue to stand there, but another arrives carrying a spear. Baradine isn't really certain where it came from, actually.

Zalgus scratched his chin. This was an odd place for an alchemist's shop; normally a balcony signified a greater structure. Hm...

Well, knowledge first, architectural quandaries later.

Grab book!

((Also for some reason I'm reminded of Minecraft. Probably because I would frequently build into the side of a cliff or something.))
