By "bug", do you mean a bug as in the creature caused crashes or produced errors in the errorlog because of incorrect or bugged tags, or was the creature not set up the way you'd envisioned, or was overpowered?  I haven't gotten any errors in the errorlog playing the latest version, but I can set up a quick fortress to see how the game turns out.

Edit: I seem to have a minor bug on the mac version of Dwarf Fortress. Closing the game from within dwarf fortress triggers an "unexpectedly quit" error.

More or less crashes trigger by creatures. And oddities like megabeast and semimegabeast popping up super early. (if you look at his report, he used the pics from his last save that I had him redo. Because yes.... a KyuuKyuu Hakutaku poped up SUPER EARLY. Which is not what was intended at all. That's the kind of werid oddities I was reffering to. I think I nailed most creatures beahaviors just fine. I just was hoping someone could pinpoint anything like crashes or oddities during gameplay.

Oh the closing of the error in mac? That's seem to happen to anything DF related on the mac for some reason....

Also Nice job using the image from the last save as an "dream".

The Fall of Year 1 will forever go down in Suikan history... assuming the history can be recovered.

The Journal of NekoRex:
This notebook was found covered in blood on the body's corpse - thankfully this is one of the few bodies that was found in what historians believe to be "the safe zone"

Year 1, Autumn

Day 4:
This month I decided to start out by going on a mission. A mission only I, the invincible NekoRex could undertake.
Time to survey some caverns.


The caverns were beautiful.


But deadly, so I knew I had to scout it myself, in my steel armor.
I was clearly the only one qualified to do this.


Unfortunately there wasn't much to explore.


However, another section of land caught my eye across the waters. I've made orders to dig to this new area and explore this cavern further.

Month 2 of Autumn
Day 2:
The miners FINALLY completed the tunnel. It took much longer then anticipated.


Unfortunately, this section of land was also miniscule. There was one last island that could be seen. I had to dig to that.

Day 12:
(this message is hastily scrawled)
According to my report, the body of Wymar was "found" today.


Apparently he had a run-in with a Cave Croc while digging to the new island. This is not what I anticipated. I should have been more vigilant in my patrols.
Worse still, this death came with a terrible discovery.


This curse... it extends deep into the earth. Wymar's body has been defiled.
This horrible scene was witnessed by one of the citizens.


While she managed to run away, in the panic, she forgot to warn MaidXan, who's life now rests in my hands.


Only I can take responsibility for this horrible loss. I will have to deal with this Croc menace myself, to save Xan and recover the body.


May the gods grant me the strength of the real Suika Ibuki to resolve this task, and defeat this menace. With my axe, and my shining armor, only I, NekoRex can prevail.

The events continue to unfold down in the caverns of Crossedhorns. MaidXan still has a rather large obstacle between her and the safety of the hole the suikas call home.


Unfortunately, the one croc isn't the only thing that's messing up plans around here. Stupidity is a terrible disease. Running unarmed into the face of danger with no intent in combat, only idiots could be so foolish.



For his her stupidity, NotaPirate promptly died.



This adding more obstacles for MaidXan.



MaidXan tried to run, she managed to get past the zombie, but that presented an entirely new problem.


One that would end in a small victory.


A small, short lived victory.

Orders were made to seal off the new tunnels. For this reason, The Strongest! was sent in to defend the chamber.
Third Eye Guy promptly found out how important it was to keep your arm properly holstered.

As I say many many times before.... them poor Suikas... Always facing danger that puts them in an insane risks. And many die horrifying death.... thus is the life of a Suika in Suika Fortress....

Don't count her out yet.... She said she may reconsider it depends on how Rex handles the winter. It will become the deciding factor on everything plays out. Only after the winter will we decide who's going to have a turn.... assuming Rex doesn't kill off everyone. ^^;;

Currently I'm still deciding. Aside from eternal jury duty hanging over my head, I pretty much figured Neko would ignore my advice and get half the fort killed, which I was prepared for. What I didn't notice until after I got back home was that he also managed to lose both our picks. Killing half our fort and losing half our precious steel? That's a-ok. Losing both our copper picks? That's unforgivable

Actually, the whole reason I was annoyed was because the entire event was completely avoidable and he didn't seem to care that I explicitly told him this was going to happen and am going to have to spend the earlier part of the year trying to get back everything he lost, or move on with half the available supplies.

What it means is the precious steel made to armor a Suika or two is now going to be melted down and used to make some more picks since I need to find out if there's anything else in this area other than Zinc, and possibly to move the fort closer to the brook so we can have some fun with water related stuff.

If he manages to screw things up even more in the winter.....Well, he had his fun, and I'm not going to spend my year cleaning up his mess because he didn't think too hard about who actually has to do it for him.

Edit: I realize this may not exactly be in the spirit of bay12 tradition, or even DF tradition for that matter, but I at least wanted to have a nice looking fort before everything and everyone went to hell for completely unexplainable reasons.
