With your reduced maneuverability and speed you cannot orbit faster than they can turn anymore! (Cannot change position relative to enemy ship.)

The Pirates fire another missile! It explodes just outside the missile rack! Causing a chain reaction and shutting down the Light Assault Guns! (Moderate damage to the front of the ship, Light Assault Guns cannot fire until repaired.)

The Assault Chaingun hammers into the Pirates ship, destroying the Armour and causing the ship to depressurize.

There are no further actions from the pirates!


After realizing that the Pirate vessel has been Neutralized you order the crew to stand down and check how much damage the Entrepreneur has taken during that short battle with the Pirates.

Yeah, I don't really care. Unless their guns are damaged, they can still shoot back. Plus, I don't think any of the pirate's engines were damaged enough to keep them from maneuvering.

After watching the Pirates ship carefully for any signs of life you decide to strip it of anything valuable, and attempt to capture any Pirates that managed to get a Spacesuit on.

You and the three Marines suit up and board the Pirates ship.

The inside is messed up to say the least, blood stains some walls where some unfortunate Pirates were standing when a HE Round hit the Hull. You immediately go to the (Small) Cargo Bay of the Lasher.

Loot:
14 Boxes of Supplies.
4 Cannisters of Concentrated Infernium.
8 Tanks of Fuel.
1 Disassembled Rocket Rack.
and an entire ship worth of scrap metal.

What will you do?

We could use the boxes of supplies, the infernium might be useful, and the fuel will be especially useful. We could probably tow the ship behind to a shipyard someplace and have it scrapped.

Or we could take some parts off of it right now and use those parts to more quickly repair our busted engine and gun, and then take the ship to a shipyard for scrapping (we'd probably get less back, though).

After going back to your ship to get some help with carrying all of your new-found loot you take everything including the ship, with a Grav Anchor.

After a short trip back to the Station to sell the Pirates ship for scrap you begin your journey to the Warp Gate anew. (+1750Cr, -10 Fuel)
