Anyone know how you open up a player shop to sell things? I'd love to get rid of all these average fighters I made.

Get an puppeteer (maybe other professions?) to make one for you. No clue if you can buy 'em on the auction or not. I'd offer, but I don't think m'exo has the cash to buy a recipe for one at the mo.

Also there's the auction. Average fighters sell for, like, nothing, iirc. Personally, I'd say just use 'em. Takes a while to burn through 'em, but they're useful right up into the 40+ level dungeons, so...

Currently taking the level challenge thing with a mage :v Also, how do the dragon weapons event works? I haven't even opened the weapon case yet but I'm dropping the dragon tear things on my challenge character.

Basically, you open it and gives you a weapon. It gets stronger as you level up. Get a hundred dragon tears and that weapon becomes permanent instead of a temp weapon. I'd hold onto the tears though. Don't use em till you get a hundred.

Don't open the case until you're sure you can use the weapon you pick. Case is account bound, growing weapon is untradeable.

Prolly just bad luck, I've been using my tears ASAP and haven't noticed any decrease in drop rate. Up to ~55 now.
Certain dungeons don't drop tears thou, so it could be that too.

Hmmm.... whats the point of chain rush? My normal combos with regular attacks worked in do more damage, are far easier to do, and don't suck my mana like a mana-addicted elven hooker. I mean, I guess it lowers cooldowns by a third I think which can be nice, but isn't really worth the bother, and if I wanted to bum rush a strong opponent I can just get on my pony.

Chaos is best summoner class. Just is.
Much more fun than summoner so far.

Edit: Slaughtered Busley on Hard despite his cheathax minions everytime. I think that makes this Chaos better at wrecking things than my avenger in low-levels.

Oh, the chain rush damage increase applies to the next skill in the chain... and increases for each chain level. So thaaat's why you use it... bugger.

Now I have to learn to chain, which I'm pretty bad at doing well in the middle of a hectic boss fight.

Yeah, I found it very difficult to continue timing Chain Rush while also keeping enemies in range and avoiding attacks. Luckily Elven Knight has that super armor buff because seriously, I'd probably just get knocked down out of my sweet combos. I gotta practice that more. By the way, are you also having a hard time with the number of skills? At level 30 I don't really think I have enough skills to get it mich higher than 13 chains.

In other news I've been working on my challenge F.Ranger. Got up to 46 or so in the past few days. All I have to say is that it really picks up once you get cube skills. Also Twin Gunblade is insanely rad.

Had a few fun party runs with Aklyon. Turns out a elementalist and a spitfire work fairly well in sync.

you can just alternate shield uppercut and errr... Stark shield? to work up your chain then once you're at your max bonus just start spamming damage skills. Stuff will die quickly. You can also use your block to drag out a chain if you need some time, elven jump or boar charge to get back in range.

I've heard tales of methods to drag a max chain into another room to oneshot bosses but have yet to try such sorcery myself.

TIL that if you don't have the right items/be the right class when you walk into the hard variant of the 6th fight in Altar of Ascension it is literally impossible to win the fight. >.>

They are different summoning concepts.

But what I do give Dungeon Fighter for is that you can take ANY class (except the newer ones) and make them into any kind of character you want.

Want to play the mage but be an up close physical fighter? You can! Want to play the gunner and do the same? Yep!

Want to play the figher, swordsmen, or priest and do the same with range? Yep!

Looks like they did a small update than banned about half of the population. Seems they booted out all of the gold sellers and anyone who bought it from em. Neato.

Just hit level 36. Got about sixteenish days to hit lvl 70 if I want to keep that creature thingy. I have a hell of a lot of grinding to do.

So while technically Deadboats can level up again now, I don't think we'll get to it for awhile.
Right now, we have 299.1k gold in the guild. The level up costs 510k, and upgrading one of the guild bonuses needs another 100k.

Gah, Sorry Aklyon. My net is just to damn spotty for me to play right now. DFO online is really damn sensitive to disconnects.
