So while technically Deadboats can level up again now, I don't think we'll get to it for awhile.
Right now, we have 299.1k gold in the guild. The level up costs 510k, and upgrading one of the guild bonuses needs another 100k.

Meanwhile, Deaderboats is ridiculously dead; it has two of my characters and two of somebody else's characters. I'm not sure if everyone is already in guilds, or what.

Deadboats isn't as much alive as it is moderately stable: Sometimes you have two people out of 15 online at once, occasionally 3. Other times theres only one person on. A number of those 15 are alts.

And if so what the heck are you guys spending the millions of gold you get at higher levels on? Coke and hookers?

Recipes, awakening mats, and quest mats. Shit gets expensive yo. (Also doll mats but that usually turns a profit)

So the leveling gets so slow at 50 that I've kinda burnt out. Shouldn't have set my goal to 70 @_@. Barely making a level and a half a day now.

Might just drop it, anyone gotten any of those special accessory boxes to say whats in them? It'd need to be pretty great to keep me at this now.

They give +gold or magic item drop rate, iirc. Haven't gotten one myself but my brother did.

Yeah, I set my goal to 61 and I've gotten to around a level a day. I haven't been maximizing my fatigue use, I haven't drank any fatigue potions, and I haven't been back to Tower of the Dead since I barely cleared it once before.

But if you can squeeze in 3 full ToD and Altar runs, that's about a million exp each IIRC. So about 10% at level 56. I just can't bring myself to do them because uhghghhgh

The lv.50 Altar is pretty fun as a Chaos, but the tower of the dead is one of the few things that I cannot solo completely. Up to floor 40, it is doable, but past that I get ground to a standstill if I make it to 45 at all. No time for summons (can't bring them from the previous floor either, if its like the previous tower), and not enough force alone to break the APCs' combo of death and doom. I still got roughly 400-500k xp from each run at lv.50.

And I'm alright with that, tbh. ToD really shows how much power you lose when horde charge & genocide crush have no minion support. And that fighting people who hurl a tornado into the room is difficult as hell.

Really? Errr.. Elven Knight clears Tower of the Dead with few problems.

Then again having an aura that deals twenty thousand damage to anything that damages you kind of precludes getting gangbanged.

People keep saying Elven knight is a really hard class but other than getting a simple timing mini-game down in the middle of a hectic fight it seems kinda... OP.

Technically I could wipe off my hotkeys and fill them with quick summons if I was that determined to solo it (the minions that make up Chaos' similar aura aren't any weaker than usual), but there are better uses for 8 slots and theres a perfectly good set of shortcut commands to access them within two keys instead. I just do not have the time to summon the giant fuck off nuke that is genocide crush before I get rushed by the floor 44/45 APCs. The other cube skills I haven't used that often so I'm not sure if I could pull them off in time or if they can get interrupted.

New events started a couple of days ago. Looks like ones for grinding awakening mats, another for special pots with better odds, and a boss unique drop boost.

Yep, The awakening mat one has led to a complete crash in the price of rusty iron and raw hardener. It can also be used to grind for avatar permanenting tickets.

I haven't seen any boss uniques drop since the start if the event thou. N' the pots are kinda lame since they don't have the 60-70 pots.
