Lars saves his creation, and heads over to Punch Many Things.
((Miss this one? If so, lemme add...))
Also punch the first thing that comes up in Punch Many Things.
The game opens and pits you against a little girl.
[dex:3]
[Girl dex:5]
[girl str:2]
The girl easily dodges your slow and feeble blows before poking you in the forehead and giggling.
((PW, I think you missed my action. Here it is again:))
The other doctors and nurses are already doing their own things again as the doctor speaks to you. His voice seems slightly different and his normal stuttering speech is gone.
"You're a step in an endless march toward the future, a rung on the ladder of advancement for humanity as a whole. I can't tell you specifically what data you generate will help, but every action confirms or denies some aspect of a hypothesis."
Lukas tried to give the doctor a funny look but he knew he couldn't pull it off. "You know what doc? I respect you and all but I think you are full of shit. No offense. And you want to know something else? I really don't care anymore. Just let me know when you need me and let me know especially when someone offers himself to you again the way I did. I want to make sure I don't get replaced if you know what I mean. It's you and me now. Now, I've got some unfinished business I got to attend to. I'm sure you'll know where to find me if you need me." Lukas walks off, briefly glancing at the two other guys waiting in the infirmary. Who are all these people? And what is that guy doing talking to a wall?
Go to the Rec room and link up to VR. Get that scenario with the Great Plains in 21st century US going again, but this time don't spawn an altered but spawn the little girl from the punch-many-things program a few hundred meters away from Lukas (Ha! try to poke my eyes now, you little bitch!)
You set up the simulation as stated.
((Mine too))
I would like books about combat strategies and ancient fighting techniques like the martial arts, use of swords and other weapons, bows included. And some chronicles books, I think I can read then by the time the mission finishes. About the amp list, I'm having some ideas but I will read something first. I don't have anything to do for a while.
The armory master hands you a book called "The Book of Five Rings".
"That should be a good start."
Bishop just wordlessly stares at the shimmering sheet for a moment.
"If this is your idea of a joke, then let me tell you that the talking, face melting sheep was telling me to kill people for my own good, and that just before now, I almost gouged out the eyes of a crippled man to get some revenge on him. Needless to say, taunting me right now is NOT good for your health.
Plus I know your the guy that was standing behind me that's under a shitty cloaking sheet. I've seen those things before so you can't fool me that easily. Also, there's this."
Punch this idiot, then take a pill and ask the doc if he can help increase my reaction time somehow. Remember to thank him for the pills too.

You pop a pill and proceed to punch the semi-invisible jackass in front of you. Unfortunately this particular partially transparent asshole is either wearing a helmet or has a skull like a bowling ball because your hand breaks on his face. And that doesn't feel very nice; in fact it feels rather bad.
You collapse to the ground with a high pitched squeak and roll around, holding your hand and swearing.
(Here's mine again, too.)
Jim gathered all the remaining scrap, smelted it down, and attempted to make a cutlass in place of the kilij, make an arming sword after that, and going on from there. During his rest breaks to regain his mental faculties, he sharpened the claymore and katana using traditional means as well as headed to the rec room and helped Mesk get into VR before returning to his work.
You help mesk into the VR machine before getting a sharpening stone from the armory and taking a break to try sharpening your weapons.
[handi:2-1]
You scrape the edge completely off the katana, rendering it not much more then a club.
[handi:3-1]
In the case of the claymore you kinda just smack it randomly with the stone, causing absolutely no change.
And lets shorten this out, so that cutlass comes out completely normal and the arming sword thats much more heavy then it needs to be.
