I wrote out the dialogue on a separate paper because the lines on the paper were getting in the way of its legibility. Aside from that part, this was a bitch to take pictures of because I wanted them to be equally proportional to each other as they are in the real drawing itself (as well as line them up perfectly; that's what those scribbles on either side of Mimi's head were for). Since putting it in my lap and trying with the light off made them unusually grainy, and with the light on cast a shadow over it, I ended up scrapping all my previous attempts without trying again and just putting it on my wall to take the pictures-- that barcoded thing in the lower-right corner is the sticky part of a water bottle's wrapper because I didn't know where the tape was.
It was still hard, but at least I got better shots.
All that being said, Emily came out bigger (as in on the paper itself), but I can get away with that by saying that she's just farther ahead because they're walking. Not that it matters now since TB came out larger in the pictures and I didn't bother resizing him. I may suck at drawing people walking, but hey, it's not nearly as bad (and difficult) as it would have been if I hadn't decided to stop sketching at their legs.
TB is not wearing glasses because I already drew the eyes and didn't wanna obscure them. Also I just don't like drawing those kind of glasses. I improvised on his hair and like how it came out; that style is pretty new and I like it since I don't have a wide array of hairstyles that short that I can ever think of to draw. If this were a color picture, I probably would have made his skin all burnt-ish where the burns are, but it's not so use your imagination. Or an image editing program or something, I dunno. Either works really.
The smaller gear on TB's shirt only has 7... whatever-those-sticking-out-things-are-called instead of 10, and it's a bit high because I drew the bigger gear first, but screw redrawing the gears. I forgot gears were on my list of things I dislike drawing. The contents of Emily's thought bubble was difficult to draw as well because everything there is so tiny.
My excuse for drawing Emily's whip is that Mimi and TB capchalogued their weapons and she didn't. So there.
...Oh I forgot to erase my hand reference sketches. Whoops. Wait I think I made his nose too big FFFFF
