Indeed, indeed. The lands of the mighty Rurikoviches expand exponentially.

How did Ryazan expand, though? The only war of expansion I can recall is the war to seize the titles of Kiev, where the Duke died in the war and we split the titles from inheritance .
If I can kill the King of Sweden, then unless my brother accepts a matrilineal marriage offer from his betrothed like a dumbass, we'll have a Rurikovich king by the turn of the century guaranteed.

I got the kingdom of Lithuania pretty much guaranteed on the Polosk side, once my ruler dies and my heir inherit all my lands. After that my only worrying neighbors will be Poland an Sweden.

We look strong on the map control front, but until we convert all those pagan lands, we are still pretty weak.

Ryazan didn't expand. I said the Rurikovich lands. If you'll recall, we're all Rurikoviches.

I wrote up a small AAR post from Ryazan's perspective. Enjoy!

Yes, your count is still alive. He was my vassal, but during the Vyazman independence war, he too declared independence. I couldn't spare troops to face him so he managed to break free. Additionally, he inherited one of Kiev's provinces when Duke Sviatoslav died.

Good AAR. One correction though, I didn't expand into Bulgar (Muslim) territory, Bulgar and me both annexed the Pagans in 'Rus.

And Scriver, you can still join. As Pwnzerfaust said, your count did fairly well.
You're the Duke of Cherson!

Galich and Turov are the two other playable duchies, while there are three other players, Cicero, Bjarmia Samio and Barbarossa. I assume one of them won't show up next time so we have time to play and hopefully secure a Rurikovich kingdom of Sweden.

I'll post a pic of 'Rus in a few minutes.

edit: updated OP with some sweet screenshots.

Nice screenshots. Also edited to AAR to correct that error, thanks.

I'd imagine you could probably play Turov. It's still unclaimed.

Well, unless Barbarossa doesn't show up next week, there is no other choice than Turov anyway.

There's also the count who's betrothed to the heir to the kingdom of sweden if someone wants to play that, though he's my vassal, and that would probably mean doing hardly anything the entire round.  :D
