Mier continues to the village with the man, trying to avoid any red-scales without being obvious about it.

((Ed: Fixed up my character sheet a bit.))

"Mmm? What about it?" Salden asked, peering curiously at him. He furrowed his brow slightly in worry a moment later. "Don't tell me there was something special about your orders..."

Kaelan

The blacksmith ponders for a bit, then nods.

Kaelan hands over 955 worth of money and receives the two steel stilettos.

Kaelan has twenty arrows.

Inser heads to a general goods store. He pays f20 to buy a small notebook, a pen and ink, and a sack that objects could be placed.

Thoki summons.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
With a jolt , 2.5 power passes out of him. From the shadows a large black dog with a mouth full of jagged teeth appears. It pads towards him quite calmly and sits in front of him.

Trendam finds a big rock. He pries it out of the ground and heavily lifts it. He then attempts to improve his strength.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He isn't able to call his power, and he fails to notice any difference in his strength, either.

Mier continues to the village. He is spotted by some lounging guards, who offer to help you bring the man to wherever you are going to. They don't seem to have any looks in their eyes, nor do they recognize who you are supporting.

Salden & Aile

"The orders were to just dig the thing out somehow and bring it back to the base!" says the man defensively. "All I was trying to do was my duty, nothing more, nothing less!"

"My focus has failed me; such a botched attempt is of no use for experimentantion... Still, practices makes perfect.

Mediate and repeat, sans finding the object:

Find a large object I'd have a large time lifting. Try and lift it, then, after attempting to magically improve my strength once more, repeat and see if it was easier the second time around.

Salden & Aile

((Saldens! :)) ))

Aile sighed. "Who gave you that ludicrous order, sir? Didn't anyone...warn you at all?" She gestured at Salden to the Namu, holding a few more Snowberries for him behind her back, in case he wanted some more while talking to the man. Well, if he wanted to, that is.

"Where...is your base anyway? I'd like to talk, or at least know, the man who gives these orders." She glanced at Salden. He was her only hope, no thanks for her lateness to fix up her own namu. He seemed to be a very generous man to help her at this time of need, and she thanked him anyway, silently.

Mier accepts, thanking them. Once back in town, he asks them to see the man to a healer, passing each of them f20 for their trouble with his thanks. That done, he returns to the market, looking for the materials requested by the alchemist. He also keeps an eye out for a set of light armor and a set of throwing knives with their own arm and leg sheaths.

That was unexpected... I had better hurry up and gather these things; it wouldn't be good to skip out on an obligation.

Thoki felt incredibly drained, as if something was pulled away from him as he summoned the dog. He needed something to eat badly. Why had he not noticed this feeling before? He turned his attention to the newly formed black dog sitting in front of him. He took a step towards it and squatted down in front of it. "Can you hide in my shadow with the guide? I'll need protection if someone finds out about my powers." He waited for a response, as he thought back to restaurants he'd past on the way. If the dog could fit in the shadow with the guide he'd head to the cheapest looking restaurant he could remember, but if not he'd have to think about it. His hunger mattered to him, but not enough to abandon his own safety.

Hide the dog, and consider finding a cheap restaurant.

Kaelan heads towards the temple. On the plaza, there is a large group of soldiers standing in line, with a figure that seems to be the leader at the front facing the temple entrance. Three men stand just outside the doors and are shouting at the leader. It seems that the leader has a slim body.

Inser heads to the blacksmith and trades his daggers along with f10 for two new daggers. He gets 10 copper coins with holes in them for change.

Trendam is meditating when a man runs through the area he is in and trips over him. The person, who seems to be about 25 and has messy brown hair restrained by a headband, curses loudly and spins to look at Trendam.

Aile:

"Of course my squad leader ordered me, and no doubt he received his orders from someone higher. And ... the base base is a fortnight's marching from here to the north somewhere, but the base of operations here is the temple."

Mier pays f40 for their help and sends them off. He then returns to the market. The outsider merchants didn't arrive here due to the incident at the ridge, so there isn't any rock available. The shopowners of the village are all talking about the couple caravans stranded at the ridge. Eavesdropping, Mier hears that they probably will try again in maybe three days.

Leather armor is on display in a few stalls, but even the owners of the armor themselves tell Mier that the outsiders have lighter armor. However, the protection of the lighter armor will be less than their's, they also assert.

Throwing knifes aren't in stock anywhere—they aren't of much use in the villages, so no-one makes them regularly. That leaves nothing to say of the arm and leg sheaths too.

Thoki tells the dog to hide in his shadow. It hops in.
There is a short-lived sound of a scuffle, but it soon calms down.

Thoki heads towards the inn, since that's where all food-catering-services are. The menu, carved as pictures in a wide piece of wood, tells Thoki the cheapest meal there would be dried fruit, or a loaf of bread.

Thoki felt even more hungry after seeing image after image of food carved into thin wooden sheets. He placed what little coin he had left in front of him and ordered a bowl of dried fruits. It wasn't an ideal choice of food after the delicious soup he had earlier, but he felt that if he didn't eat something he might just pass out from a lack of energy. The night would be long without enough to stay at the inn, but right now food was his top priority. He'd wait it out in the city's atrium after eating, even if it will be a long wait.

>Thoki: Be poor.

Spoiler: Thoki Corviaten (click to show/hide)

((I assume that he's running out of money. If I'm wrong I'll still wait in the atrium for a little while before heading to the inn.))

Kaelan heads inside the temple and leans on the wall next to the door, eavesdropping on the conversation.
