Jeeze. So much detail. o_O

I am looking quite forward to enjoying the contents of this RP.

If you ever have need of co-GMs or new players to RP the other kingdoms, I'll be watching this thread intently.

Give I Am King a run for its money ;)

Thanks for the support :D.

I could probably do with a neutral GM to take role of important characters for the players to roleplay with during story-driven scenarios.

Would be interesting to see a parallel universe being run in another Forum Game thread, if you know anybody who wants to do so.

Edit; It'd actually possibly work to run seperate updates in the same thread to share the workload.

PLEASE PUT THE FOLLOWING CODE AT THE END OF YOUR LAST TURN-POINT-SPENDING TURN!
Code: [Select]
[center][img]http://puu.sh/nNzy[/img][/center]

I'm afraid I'm really not one for extended roleplaying, not at the moment at least - so I'm going to keep it short and sweet.

Feel free to envelop yourselves in the world, though! :)

Reduce Eating Habits and Hygiene to Simple.

10 points = Hunting & Selling game.
1 point = Research market niches in the transport business.
1 point = Train "Dagger Expertise" Skill.

Let me compliment you on this turn layout, Azkanan- it's quite brilliant, and seems extremely well-adapted for a forum game. May have to borrow it from you, with permission and of course credit, in the distant future. :)

My map marker shall be orange!

And here are my updated Relationships:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, a quick question regarding the act of working- does this entail studying intelligence and/or drilling the troops, or are those separate/unavailable actions?

Your monies is safe. A light bit of hunting/foraging/fishing/etc should balance out your expenditures.

(My Quarterly ship fee's are paid after three months correct? And what would you say is the carrying capacity of my sloop, Do I have to worry about food and water supplies?)

Yeah. Expenditures are withdrawn from you every three months.

As for carrying capacity, I was going to keep this to the players discretion - carry what you want, but keep it relative. No elephants on a rowing boat.

Food and water doesn't need to be worried about - you automatically load out every time you set sail. Just make sure you touch land once every six months, and you'll purchase/forage supplies. scrap that - three months is a long time. I'm sure your guy will handle that himself and find an hour or so for I at some point :).

These would be separate. Working is the act of being paid to do something under your superior, such as attending court hearings and such.

Also - my bad - I forgot to mention that you can not "train" stats. They rise minorly when you train relevant skills.

I just wanted to say that I love the detail that you've put into this!

I'm not sure if you have a time limit in mind for turns, but I intend to write up my first turn tonight and hope I don't blunder up too badly! :)

Minor questions:

Both Ricky and I are commanding the Lorecht's 9th Knight Patrol. Does that mean I'm a sub-commander under him, or was that a typo?

Under lifestyle it states that I live on 6 Drake Road, the same as Ricky. Should that be 9 Valerie Way instead, or am I staying at Ricky's place currently?

As an order for my troops for the season, do I have to tell them to travel to Riverwatch, or can I set them to train?

Damn; copy-paste error on my part. I never finished your sheet. I'll have it done in the next ten minutes or so.

I'm going to be leniant and let you have them train on the road! Tell them where to go for free, then just spend some points training them if you want, on the road.

Dietrich pulled his dark fur cloak tighter as a violent gust of snowy wind blew past him. The news of war was hardly a surprise to anyone, relations between the two Knightdoms had always been terse even at the best of times. The Hirecht often saw the existence of Lorecht Knightdom as an affront.

Still, despite the inevitability of the conflict, no one liked a war in the winter months. It would be hard going to Riverwatch, but at least it would give him an excuse to train his men on their off hours. "Keeps the blood moving." he would say. By the end of the trip he hoped to know the men under his command better.

Dietrich needed a few things. Firstly a horse, they were expensive, but his father always said "A good officer needs a good horse!". He couldn't help but give his father a proud smile when they were all assembled in the Hall together. Next he would need a good veteran soldier to assist him with his patrol. His sergeant, responsible for helping him train the men and maintain discipline. He hoped that there would be a suitable candidate among the soldiers that were travelling to Riverwatch.

Actions:
Travel to Riverwatch
Order Lorecht's 12th Knight Patrol to Riverwatch
Order Lorecht's 12th Knight Patrol to train in weapons

4 points - train Strategy
4 points - assist in training Lorecht's 12th Knight Patrol.
1 point - Search for specialist - Veteren Soldier to assist with training/2nd command
1 point - Carouse with men, get to know them better.
1 point - See about purchasing/procuring a horse.
1 point - explore the terrain around Riverwatch for good defensible terrain and ambush spots.

All good, Knave. Iffy about "Training Strategy", but I'll let it slide on the base of discussing with other Officers.

Also, I've just rewritten the whole Turn update so that it's compatible with a BBCode Reader. Simple updating, woo!

(Can't wait to see how things are gonna progress :D. Now then, time to flesh things out and add some character to these characters.)

Wiping the rat blood off on his cloak, Eziel glanced up and smiled as he was approached by Lira and Eran in the sewer den. From their expressions, he could tell they were a bit distressed.
"The tension is getting high out there. It won't be much longer now.", Eran said somberly.

"Both sides will suffer to some extent. With war comes desperation. We should be able to use this to our advantage.", Eziel responded.

"It's not just the Knightdoms.", Lira added. "These days, it seems like the whole damn world is trying to tear itself apart. Are you sure you've thought this big 'underground trading' plan of yours through? It seems like it could stir up a lot of trouble for us."

Eran chimed in, "She has a point. It's not that I'm against it, but stuff like this is pretty risky, and could end up putting all of us in danger."

"Like I said, with war comes desperation. Many people will be in search ways to protect themselves against the harsh world around them, many others will be in search of ways to indulge themselves and forget about the world's troubles, and war or not, there will always be people with the desire to get back at those who have wronged them. Most people will be too distracted by the current conflicts to pay any attention to small operations carried out by three nobodies like us. With all of us working together, we will be able to make things work in our favor." Eziel explained calmly.

"I just hope you know what you're talking about...", Lira replied.

"Look, I'm not asking a lot from you two. Only that you lend a hand with things when the time is right. Until then, just continue laying low. I can't speak for the two of you, but I don't want to spend the rest of my life living in shitholes like this, this is our chance to do something about it. I promise you, if we play our cards right, soon we'll each have lives surpassing even our wildest dreams, you just have to trust me." Eziel then made his way toward the exit of the sewer den. It was time to put plans in motion.

Reduce Hygiene to bad and Eating Habits to basic.

Identify local merchants, business owners, and groups/organizations - 3 points.

Research into nearby trade/supply routes and the wares commonly brought through them - 2 points.

Train Conversation skill - 3 points.

Pickpocket - 4 points.

Let me know if there's anything I could improve on.

Raklah stayed at his parent's house during that night. He cooked for the family, honoring his mother. The next morning his bid farewell, kissing his mother goodbye and shaking his father's hand. Breygard has come to respect Raklah, though he would never say so. He told them of the war, telling them not to be worried.

He set off from his parents, going to the Cemetery. walking past the civlian Cemetery, he goes to the Knights' Tombs.  Familiar with this place, he sees the names of dead Heros of the past..
"..Here lies Munger Stonegrip..
Commander of Lorecht's 25th battallion..
1145-98..

..Here lies Cloud Hastefallen..
Royal Archer of Lorecht's 11th archer squad..
1098-1165.."

After Several of these worn tombs, he comes upon that which he is looking for. The tomb of his grandfather
.
..Here lies Stinbrikh Gravenhelm..
Stinbrikh "Bonebreaker"
.. One of The 32 Regal knights of Lorecht..
Commander of Lorecht's 9th Knight patrol..
1146-1235..

This was the first time he had been to his Tomb in many years. he told grandfather of the dire situation. he told grandfather to watch over him, bless him. He thanked him for caring so much. He went off to war.

Raklahwalked to the knight's stables, requesting a horse. he did not so much need a horse to ease his journey to riverwatch, but to Bestow upon his troops a sense of, well, Regality. At the Knight's Stables he found a Stable boy. He called him over, inquiring if he could get a horse.

He went to the barracks where his troops were stationed. he introduced himself, telling them that he will be the commanding officer. he told them to bid farewell, and to get their affairs in order.

Action Phase

1 point--  Procuring horse from knights Stables
1 point--  Research Riverwatch's geography and history
6 point--  Training the Knight's and Archers on the road.
2 point-- Look for specialist within the troops to be right hand man.
2 point-- Personally train self in Longsword Expertise.

If there's anything wrong or contradicting, let me know.
