With the war ready to reignite for months you have been preparing for this moment since - the summons. The Lord Knight has called for all officer-rank knights to be summoned to the Citadel for orders.
You arrive early, eager to serve the Lord Knight and file into the grand hall. As the time for detail approaches, the hall holds well over a hundred loyal and hardy men and women, the Lord Knight sitting in his grand throne of Dragon Bone and purified gold.
He gives a mighty speech on how the rebellious Lorecht Kingdom, the shame of the world and the scum of their booted, almost choking on the word of calling them "Knights", are to be crushed once and for all in one last mighty war in an attempt to reunite the once-glorious Knightdom of Recht.
Indeed, last night, a battalion had been launched in a successful offensive to retake Riverguard.
After one more lengthy speech on how dispicable the Lorecht Knightdom was - once again choking on the "Knight" part of that title - the assembly, cheering, is dismissed to their Master Knights.
The officers split away to two smaller assembly rooms on either side of the Grand Hall, following the Master Knights, to recieve orders.
You begin to hand out orders to your Regal and Commanding officers.
The other Master Knight has been set to defending the access points to the kingdom.
A small presence has been sent to patrol Northelm's woodlands.
A medium presence has been sent to guard the mountain pass from Valegard.
A large presence has been sent to Passkeep.
A large presence has been sent to Riverguard.
The Lord Knight wishes for the capture of Valegard or Riverwatch.
Valegard is heavily defended, both terrain and structure-wise and is a major source of metals.
Riverwatch is an easier target and a blockage on any access from the east, but less resource-wise valuable.
You have 16 Officers and their troops to place.
For simplicity, give orders by percentages of manpower (ie, you have 100% in total).
You must also choose where you wish your battalion to be positioned in three month's time, now.
- You can request specific details during the Roleplay phase.
- You can choose to go with your troops and to have limited troop-based/fort-based actions, or stay in the city and be limited from troop-based actions. However, you will gain loyalty, reputation and possibly combat experience from being on the front-line.
- Your choices here will conflict with the plans of the enemy Master Knights, with borders possibly changing by next turn.

He sits upon a modest throne of stone and dyed linen wraps. The Lord Knight gives a solemn speech of regret on how the Hirecht Knightdom has struck out at the Lorecht Knightdom once more, and it is time once again to defend your lands, people, beliefs and freedom.
The assembly, with a vigorous cheer, split into two groups to follow their respecting Master Knights to recieve placement orders.
Your group has been ordered to protect Riverwatch with a number of others.
You can choose to either go with your troops, or hand over control to another of the officers going. If you go to war, your per-turn choices will be limited.
However, your troop's loyalty will increase, as will your combat experience (If there *is* any combat) and your standing as a Knight.
Not going will keep all, but troop-related actions, per-turn choices open and will not degrade your standings as a Knight or your troop loyalty.
If you choose to go to war, you must plan your turn's undertakings so that they are flexible to road-travel and placement in a fort scenario.
