The Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend...

When your ally comes to your gates, Bearing Gifts...
Keep your blade close to hand...
If he comes with weapons shown...
You too shall wear yours...
But if he comes with open arms...
Stand upon your walls and cast stones down on him...

personally, I'll go wherever MoM leads us. I don't care about gods, and I don't think I'll have many chances to see biomes before choosing, so all gods are the same for me.

unless there is one which gives us mossy and cracked stone brick. then I vote for him.

well, mossy and cracked bricks are going to be VERY hard to find most likely, unless there is a merchant for them.
I must think of my future building material needs!

Yep, we'll have to farm the strongholds.

I'll join you in S3, but I must warn you that my main project will be to build a massive farm, with my own manor somewhere in the middle of the wheat fields.
I'll be sure to visit... ^_^
I saw on the N@W forum that you'll also build a farm. You're my mentor when it comes to farming, as I learned efficient farming watching you, so you'll of course be an honoured guest whenever you'll come visit me. :D

Oh come on as if I was the cause of your Efficiency... :P
But yes, I build some solid farms. I still can't believe people think Pumpkins and Melons only grow onto Tilled Land... \\sigh\\

I think melons and pumpkins used to grow only on tiled land, but that got changed later.

Hey there N@W dudes. Just giving you a heads up in another place that we're doin a Play Games with Admins weekend. A N@W DF succession game has already been suggested, and might be a bit of fun. I've got a pretty open schedule and would love to put some time down to play other games with you folks. Hit up the forums and let me know if you've got the time and inclination :)

Most of The Hammersong Empire was in a different timzone to me :P
Mau and Andrea were the only ones close to GMT
I was as well, but I had a very VERY strange schedule :D
With regards to which god the Bay12 nation will be choosing,  I'd recommend thinking about a few with minimal amount of people at the moment who have already proclaimed their allegiance, which means that Air, Day, and Night are probably not the smartest choices.

Meanwhile, Fire, Water, and Earth are beckoning.  I noticed that Nowan/TolyK has picked Earth as his god on the forums.
I did, however this is tentative. I'd be up for Fire as well.

I could set something up, and when I/LucasUP update the LNP (read: whenever we get off our asses :P) I could provide a ready pack for the succession.
And DF2MC works meh-ly. Though it would be awesome to have a fight on the end map XD

So bumposting. Who all would be interested in getting the band back together in S3? And by that I mean, who would be interested in bowing down to me as their Empress again? :P
:P
I'd like to have you as a build-this-here-and-you-can-do-that-and-you-over-there-go-mine-some-more, but we really need some folks good at war tbh. I'd be up for training an army. And we need TRAAAAAPS.

So, I have an Idea. How about we split ourselves into "brigades" or something with main "professions". So mechanics, masons/architectors, farmers, woodcutters, miners, siege engineers, siege operators, soldiers... You know where I'm going :D

I didn't hand out any ranks in people to S2 who didn't earn them. And anyone who was given a place of power knew that they reported to me, I was, after all, the only person in the Empire with the authority to kick people out :P
