When the duke asks
What I do while I'm on break
I tell him, "Don't ask."

Ok, maybe it can be limericks; it just can't be that one.

There was a young dwarf from the mountain
Who was blind when it came down to counting.
His stack went so high
That it tickled the sky;
It was his first and last magma fountain.

Struck Adamantine!
A dwarf started digging it.
Shit. Novice miner.

Adamantine, IIRC, has a 100% mining chance.

Anyway, limericks all up in this thread.

Imagine the will it took to create a fortress like this. And what have you elves built? Nothing. You can only loot and break. You're not dwarves!! You're just termites at Versailles.

It's not that I don't suffer, it's that I know the unimportance of suffering, I know that pain is to be fought and thrown aside, not to be accepted as part of one's soul and as a permanent scar across one's view of existence.

Found some other Haiku threads!
One
Two
Three

Why have I been looking? Well, I'm considering sticking a haiku on the first page of each chapter of me book - borrowed with permission from you lot.

I think it's the way towns develop now. In the beginning, people move into a town. Then they start producing tables, which results in more and more tables. Soon tables represent a significant portion of the population, they start lobbying for new laws and regulations, putting people to greater and greater disadvantage...

Now in the military but once a brewerist
The goblins did come
And Urist did run
And now the poor dwarves are fewerist   :'(
