Thank you for identifying exactly the meme I was referencing.

Your welcome.

Pumpkin: More commonly referred to as a "padded cinderblock."
Jinx: Afraid of his own shadow.
Pooky: Badass cat. Just turned one, and is the unofficial ruler of the house (humans included).
Funny, my oldest cat is named Pumpkin, and weighs as much as a padded cinder block. And to fill in the rest of the naming for the hell of it; the middle-generation cat that returned the family of kittens ala Aristocats fashion, and much the adventuring casasnova is named Magellan (since he's been that way since he was a teaspoon panther (IE- kitten)). Considering he's entirely black naturally (including whiskers), I nickname him "ninja-cat" since you can't friggin' see him late at night. And of course, the youngest runt of the litter I personally named "Mouse", wheras, just due to a family pet-naming of the entire clan of his (or more like the ENTIRE clan of the cats), his actual name is Mini-Skinny (because he looks like a smaller version of his mother which was named Skinny; my nickname of him as "Mouse" is because of his appearance. Very mousy personality.).

"Buddy," a golden retriever. Friends gave him to us when they moved across the country. Loves cats, loves people, hates all other dogs. Constantly nags us to play fetch with him.

"Captain," an orange tabby. He hung around our house for a while, and we started feeding him. Now he is our cat we are his servants. We call him "Captain" because he used to keep his right eye closed due to some sort of infection, and he looked like a pirate. (His eye is fine now.)

"Pig," a guinea pig. My little brother and sister fought over what to name him, so they changed his name like every week for a while. The rest of us started referring to him as "The guinea pig," which got shortened to "The pig" and eventually "Pig." Simple, but it works.

I'm out, I can't think of anything anymore.

If anyone wants to take control of the thread, be my guest.

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.
