Yeah. Well. It is your board, do whatever the fuck you want with it. Just don't associate it with bay 12 if you are going to do that shite.

Furthermore from locking this thread, I suggest any discussion about those forums be on those forums.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

It is kind of a dick move to have pony boards not associated with bay12 have the bay12 name in them without Toady's permission. Especially if you're loading it up with pony porn. Just saying.

I was actually kind of put off by that, but then again, there was no forum rule against that. It was shocking that such a thread was made within hours of the forum's conception.

It has since been deleted. Thank you to those who brought it to my attention.

In other news, the board has also been renamed to Bay 13 to prevent any unwanted association with us horrible people.

Anything even remotely messed up is pretty well separated from the 'normal' discussion, so you can visit a hundred times and never have to worry about seeing anything that you don't set yourself up for.

Fixed that. Due to the reason for the new boards existence it was almost guaranteed that somebody would capitalize on the chance for some ribaldrous humor.

We've been working to lay down some groundrules, and threads are being made without much oversight at this point. We're in the process of cleaning things up and setting ground rules, and I think we're going to end up making the name entirely unrelated. The whole point of this was to distance the pony stuff from B12, and I'm really not surprised that that sort of thing cropped up. Or (no offense intended, but maybe not the best idea) at who it was that made that thread.

No offense taken. I've always been the especially weird bastard of the forum bronies, and I was wondering if I could at least attract a few more weird bastards to chill with.

Hm. 87 guests since the boards were set up. Looks like there is a lot more interest in ponies than previous involvement would indicate.  :P

I'm seeing a lot of parallels to 'New VN', but have fun. Don't forget to write, though. I like talking to (most of) you folks.

(I don't know who all was in the thread, so I cannot guarantee that I like you all.)
