Ah... I see, after the tournament rather than a round robin can all 3 of us team up to fight a dragon, whoever gets the killing blow earns the title?

With the finals today and the two highest ranked gladiators fighting today, the crowds have really packed into the stadium, with some even standing outside hoping to hear that decisive scream. When you think about it, you'd think that people would not like to watch blood sports, but thank goodness they do here at the beginning of day 20.

Both limping after massive upsets, Sodel and Clara entered the Arena, and both hoped to be the first ranked gladiator when everything was over.
Ratel did predictably bad, probably due to his size, though he did manage to bruise Bragheera's spleen, but he (she?) came back with a scratch to the upper body, shattering the middle spine and quickly following it up with a scratch to the brain, shattering the skull and bruising the brain.
Clara started by punching Roosevelt in the liver, and Sodel with a punch to the left foot before the real battling began. Roosevelt avenged his liver by charging the human, forcing her backwards but not taking advantage. The elk kept charging, but no one could get in a hit until the human finally fractured his right front hoof. Sodel, however, had gotten back into the battle and quickly stabbed her from behind, taking off the left foot and casting it into the fires below. Soon, her left lower leg, left hand, and battle axe followed. To Sodel's dismay, however, the human then proceeded to dodge the rest of his blows, and Roosevelt and Bragheera had a similar lack of success, but dodging has its limits over a bridge, and after dodging a Bragheera blow, she rolled off the side and was burned alive.
Sodel wins! He also receives 304 Urists from winning, (wow) 986 Urists from the tournament, and 5 from the bet, swinging only five times before Clara rolled off the edge.
Clara receives 496 Urists.

Both riding their unlikely victories, Pan and Matthias walked into the arena to the cheers of a roaring crowd. Matthias charge Bob early and destroyed his skull, but somehow missed the brain. He then quickly hacked off a right front leg and then turned to face Pan and Jim. Both Matthias and Pan blocked a considerably number of shots, but Jim wasn't so lucky as to have a shield and quickly got charged, put on the ground, and had his finger cut. Matthias then charged Pan, putting her on the ground and getting a shot to end the battle. It wasn't, though, as Pan bashed him in the right lower leg, chipping the bone, and Jim distracted him with a few bites. Taking a blow for the team, Jim valiantly got his right front leg hacked apart to give Pan the time to stand up and bash Matthias in the upper body and tearing the middle spine, putting him on the ground and his weapon and shield in the fire. From there, it wasn't long until Pan and Jim avenged their vegetable ally, Bob, and had Matthias bled out on the ground.
Pan wins the tournament! She also receives 293 Urists from winning the match and (holy shit) 1,974 Urists from winning the tournament.
Matthias receives (holy crap) 1480 Urists.

Tersr entered the arena, hoping to get some cash to assist him in getting a title. Striking quickly, Tersr ripped apart the Gorillas guts and got them all over the place, which didn't endear him to the cleaning staff, but the Gorilla quickly retaliated, charging him away onto the ground. However, it couldn't take advantage as Friday and Saturday both distracted the gorilla by biting the massive creature and preventing it from doing any further damage. Once Tersr got back up, though, a stab to the head from behind was all that was needed to shatter the skull and tear the brain.
Before I even run this battle, I have to say that it probably wasn't the best idea to challenge Karrk on a thin bridge suspended over a boiling pit of lava.
Fekod loosed the rankings! Then Administration put them back up in a secure fashion and sent him off to fight Karrk. Amazingly, his first blow struck down the Jaguar, jamming the skull throught the brain. Then, he was charged by Karrk, sending him to the ground and he took advantage, tearing apart the stomach with his scimitar. Then, the right lung was torn, and the left lower arm flying away along with the lead mace that was Fekod's only hope. One more charge later, and Fekod was falling off the side. Mercifully falling unconscious before he landed, he didn't feel the searing pain of a pool of lava.
Taking heed of Administration's recommendation (for once), Flint and Dastot faced off. Dastot quickly hacked apart the lower leg, and he soon managed to hack apart the right upper arm, fracturing the bone on the way. Soon, Flint was on the ground with another shot to the right lower leg, tearing it apart as well. Dastot continued his crusade against limbs, though, and didn't manage to kill him, until after a vicious hack that severed the right lower leg forced the rest of Flint's blood onto the ground.
Dastot wins 100 Urists, which could have been higher if facing an opponent with higher net worth.
Jack was now simply mocking Administration, and scheduled himself to fight a "jagura." Not to be messed with, Administration sent him out against a dragon, who simply happened to look a lot like a jaguar. Charging early, the jaguar dragon missed entirely, and the dwarf simply jumped away. Jack then slashed away at the right rear leg, fracturing it, and the left front leg, fracturing it too. It wasn't long before the jaguar dragon was unconscious, and it's head in the lava.
Jack defeats a dragon! Kind of.
A few notes here. You still can't afford all that stuff 15 Copper Arrows costs 30 Urists (15*2=30), and a bow will cost the same as a crossbow, 10 Urists, as they don't have a price listed. With that said, you only have 10 Urists left, so you can have either archer or bowman. Also, you didn't choose to fight anything. You've also been designated a male human as I'm dreadfully sexist and American Indians (or Indians from India) are human.

We could have had so much change, and yet not much changed at all. Except for the simply massive amount of Urists won. It's simply mind-boggling, and I'm sure the gladiators will have some fun on their shopping spree. In the future, I would expect to see Pan continue rising, and Matthias not far behind, though Clara and Sodel have a chance to maintain their positions with a tournament win of their own.
On the other hand, the lower ranked players are going to have their work really cut out for themselves, but the next tournament may give them some hope.
With the tournament over and Administration almost bankrupt, the gladiators go to sleep. Some to rest their wounds, some to think about tomorrow's shopping spree, but all go to hope that tomorrow will be the culmination of this infernal gobbling sound. (Spoiler: it will)
