With
the tournament close at hand, it certainly seems like it'll be a Round-Robin rather than Elimination as only enough people for 3 teams have signed up. Only two teams this time will recieve a reward, with the first place team receiving 20% of everyone's net worth and second place 15%. Prizes to teams may be split in whatever way desired, but if something is jointly bought, it can only be used by one gladiator per day. Rewards for winning a single combat is still 10% of every fighters wealth adjusted for team net worth, and can also be split in any way. If you don't join a team, I'll pick one for you.
Remember, the winners of this tournament will have the right to challenge for Tersr's title.

The crowds are once again coming back as it seems that the gladiators have chosen some harder enemies, and everybody loves to see a close one.
Matthias, fresh off a victory over a nasty opponent, fought another jaguar. The battle started slowly, with only a few cuts to the skin and bruising on the jaguar to show for it, but then the crowd bayed for blood as the jaguar knocked the human down and scratched it in the left hand and the right foot. Luckily, it was nothing serious and Matthias quickly recovered. Wanting revenge, he charged, hacking the left rear paw and tearing fat, but he bounced off and stunned himself. The jaguar once again had an opportunity to end the battle, but an ineffective strike to the left hand dashed its chance, and the human showed no mercy, hacking the jaguar repeatedly until it finally was knocked unconscious and from there it was a simple matter to jam the skull through the brain.
Due to the fact that all leather is similar, but the price is different, and to prevent massive net worth inflation, all leather gets the same multiplier of *2.
Tersr, rapidly pulling away from the other gladiators, pushes through the enormous crowd paparazzi into the arena. Like the rock his people mine, he stood, deflecting the jaguar's early attempt to charge him like a mountain deflect life-giving rain. The now very confused jaguar proved no threat as the dwarf stabbed it twice, completely shattering the left rear leg and tearing a tendon, before it fell unconscious and its skull was shattered and brain torn.
Jack, not to be outdone, also pushed through people to get into the arena, but the one poor official arena photographer proved hardly a crowd. Jack quickly took the advantage, charging early and disabling the left front leg. The tangled together, and while on the ground, Jack disabled the right rear leg. One more disabled leg more, this time left rear, and the jaguar was on the ground, and Jack was in the clear. Slashing left and right, the jaguar soon was bleeding all over the floor, and Jack even took the time to stab off the jaguar's nose before it slowly bled out on the arena floor.
Desperate to catch up with Tersr, Sodel challenged a gorilla. Not deturred by an earlier loss to a gorilla, Sodel walked up and stabbed the gorilla's right front foot off. Honestly, it was more of a hand, but the dwarf's next punch to the lower lib cemented the point. After trading largely ineffective blows, the Dwarf stabbed once again, this time in the right rear leg and fracturing the bone and a tendon, and the now very pained gorilla just gave in to the pain and promptly had a tendon in the skull torn. Oh, and a brain after a shattered skull.
This is the one the fans came here to see, and no one disappointed. Clara quickly took out the ice wolf, shattering the skull and tearing the brain, but Naka was less eager to die. Clara charged early, hacking apart a kidney and and artery and shattering the now prone human's toe, shattering it. Clara now showed little restraint, and started hacking away at anything she could see, eventually forcing Naka to let go of his spear and fall unconscious. Soon, his upper spine was torn and his head was a few feet from his body.

Yskreggi picked out a jaguar in the cages, and brought it to battle. The dwarf started fast, kicking a tooth right out from the jaguar's mouth and taking a slash at the tail, but when the dwarf charged, he was the one getting knocked over. The jaguar had no mercy, striking from behind, but his scratches were ineffective, only tearing fat not muscle. The dwarf, though, kept missing, and the jaguar eventually but him on the head, shaking him around and causing plenty of blood loss. When it simply repeated the action, it tore muscles and tore another artery, and when it tried for a third, the dwarf was already bleeding all over the floor.
Loss in a single combat nets -5 Urists.
In another blockbuster comat, Fekod marched against Naka and his ice wolf. Fekod went into the battle confident, but his over confidence let Naka get behind him and stab him in the left upper leg, fracturing the bone. Not learning his lesson, he bashed at the ice wolf, but only bruised some fat and got charged from behind, stabed in the lower right leg, knocked over, and knocked quickly unconscious. Soon after, Naka got his spear stuck in Fekod's brain.
Naka wins in an upset!
Dastot, now confident in his skill against jaguars, attacked one. In another blindingly long battle, the two squared off, with the dwarf quickly bruising the jaguar's left rear leg to start off. They then started trading blows, but once again the lack of a sharp weapon did Dastot in, with only heavy bruising resulting from even headshots. Dastot continued, hoping to have the jaguar's internal organs be destroyed, but in an unfortunate charge, he was knocked back and stunned. The jaguar quickly got enraged and bit down on the dwarf. The battle then turned around, and the next 5 pages detailed the jaguar tearing apart the dwarf limb by limb. When the dwarf finally lost his consciousness, the jaguar still could not strike the killing blow, but eventually his blood ran out.
Dastot loses 8 Urists from a loss.
Ugh. Made a huge mistake not catching that your leather armor actually costs twice what you paid for it... so now you've got one gauntlet, one boot, and -5 Urists before winnings from doubling the cap's price. Paying the other half for both gauntlet and boot gets you the other part of it.
After trying (and failing) to convince Administration to give her an Urist for forgetting her mace skills, she borrowed one off Clara, remembered her skills, and took on a jaguar. After trading largely ineffective blows, she put her weight behind a massing strike to the left front paw, fracturing the bone. The coward of a jaguar then simply gave in and from there it was a simple act to jam the skull through the brain.
Not enough cash for everything, (64-58=8) so armor user not bought.
Flint, fuming from Administration's suggestion, took out his anger on a wolf, the only gladiator to do so. The battle went slowl, with the human opening with a charge that fractured the left rear paw. From there, he bashed the wolf in the head, only to tear the upper spine and not the brain. Flint just took his time now, bruising a kidney and again tearing the upper spine. He proceeded to take a lot of time, at one point even shattering the skull with a punch, but never actually striking down the now only twitching wolf. As the battle drew on and the human getting more and more distracted by the wolf's easy to reach limbs, a few audience members thought that the battle would end with the wolf suffocating, but after a bite out of the wolf that apparently satisfied him, Flint jammed the skull through the brain.
