With the tournament over, the crowds ebb, but there's still a good many here to see the top fighters battle. The next tournament's already shaking up (down?)

Net Worth actually ten more than what was thought.
Pan had hoped to rocket past some people in the rankings, but didn't get anyone to face her, and was forced to fight against a jaguar. The battle started slowly, with Pan only bruising the bone of the jaguar's left rear paw. They traded blows, but only Pan's bruising of muscle had any impact. As one would expect, though, she did get in a decisive shot before the Jaguar, jamming the skull through the brain.
Although making administration happy, Flint makes a questionable decision and for the umpteenth time walks into the arena having bought nothing. The wolf struck first, denting his lower body with a scratch, as the human rushed right by it. It then bit him in the right leg and charged the rather surprised human. The tangled together, but Flint regained his sense of direction and bashed the wolf in the head, tearing the upper spine. The now completely paralyzed wolf had little chance to withstand a blow to the head, jamming the skull through the brain.
Disappointed by a loss in the finals, Sodel marched against the jaguar with low morale. Nonetheless, he struck the first blow, tearing apart the jaguar's guts. After dodging the jaguar's weak blow, the dwarf charged, simply destroying its left front leg, tearing arteries, nerves and tendons. Alas, he bounced off the jaguar, but tried again, this time shattering the right false rib and forcing both to the ground in a tangle. The now vomiting jaguar had little recourse against the dwarf, who took the time to cut a few toes before cutting into the jaguar's lower body and spilling what guts were left. After two stabs to the spleen, one of which actually got stuck in the spleen, the jaguar could take no more and bleed to death.
Matthias, full of pride that he lost to the champion, proudly faced a jaguar. After trading dodges, the human charged, bruising the jaguar's spleen and tangling both together. The human, however, didn't take the initiative and let both stand up without major incident. However, the aggressive impulses of the human can't be overstated, and he charged again, this time missing and bouncing backward. The battle wen slowly from there, with both dodging like experienced politicians until the jaguar charged the human, knocking him down but missing the prone man until it finally gave in to its spleen wounds. It was simple act from there to just jam the skull through the brain.
Clara eagerly awaited the day she could get back on top, but first she had to kill a jaguar. She started off with a hack to the right lung, tearing it apart and then tearing an artery and many nerves in the left rear leg. Continuing her crusade against legs, she proceeded in consecutive attacks to disable the right front leg, and the left front leg. The jaguar had no chance, and just fell over, hoping for a quick death. It must have been quite a sight for the fans, seeing an axe stuck into the head of a prone jaguar, who's skull was shattered and who's brain was torn apart.
Oh how I miss the days when gladiators fought gladiators and I didn't have to run 10 battles.
Fekod took his sweet time getting into the arena, but quickly ended the battle. He took one bite at the jaguar's left front leg, then decided that was enough and bashed the Jaguar in the head, jamming the skull through the brain.
At least they're quick.
Jack, fuming, I'm sure because of his new name, angrily walked into the arena still having fought no gladiator combats. Jack charged early, slashing at the left rear leg, but simply bounced off. He got up, though, and stabbed it and ripper it apart. He literally then went for the jugular and slashed apart the jaguar's throat. Not wanting to wait, he charged again, this time shattering the skull and tearing apart the brain. And knocking down a corpse.
Nale, freshly stripped of his title by Administration, finally managed to convince them that he was serious that he wanted to go against a gorilla in his first combat, even against the advice of the best in the arena. The gorilla charged early, knocking down the elf, and then bit him in the upper body and shaking him around. The elf tried to fight back, but the gorilla just charged again, this time ripping off the Elf's right hand with his teeth! The very aggressive gorilla charged yet again, this time tearing nerves in the left lower arm. The elf soon lost consciousness, and as the gorilla shook him around at will, he bled out all over the ground.
5 Urists lost from losing a single combat.
Tersr just barely made it in time to the arena, and chose to challenge Naka, this time fully armed. He struck first, slashing Naka's ice wolf in the upper body and shattering a rib. Tersr then slashed apart Naka's upper spine, and the quickly stabbed him in the head again, shattering the skull and tearing it apart. Not that it matters, but he also slashed apart the Ice Wolf's head immediately afterwards.
Tersr continues winning! Choose any non-megabeast for your leather armor reward. Karrick is quaking in his boots now.
Dastot once again took his time fighting, taking no less than 10 pages to win. His axe wasn't doing much in the early going, only managing to bruise, but when he got out his teeth, he disabled the right rear paw of the wolf and had it bleeding out all over the ground. He then moved on and started breaking nails with his axe, and the wolf couldn't take it, falling unconscious and promptly getting its skull though the brain.
