The Dungeon Dragon Award: Shoruke, for hosting the Western Marches game and thus granting access to a 3.5e game for literally everyone who wants to show up.

The Mastermind Award: RAM. That's an example of one of his posts, but in about every D&D game I've been in with him, he's been doing such things. Helping the entire party out, making characters that don't die, and using strange magicks to make every game fun.

Hm, this should end up interesting. Im probally going to end up nominating Fniff/GlyphGryph for something because I personally love their characters they do.

Also, might I suggest a "Great idea that turned bad" category?

I second both of these. Shoruke is a great DM, and his game made D&D accessible for those without consistent schedules.

RAM was very helpful when people needed help understanding D&D mechanics, or some help picking a spell/item. In short RAM indirectly powergamed our characters with suggestions. Which was awesome.

For the game that wasn't all it was cracked up to be, I have to note the Feudalism game that started when Aqizzar made a post in GD and then the thread was given a new set of rails by the first page. I don't have a link, but it was hilarious until it actually became a game.
