Veranus thought for a moment...

"I believe we can accept that deal."

Even she knew the quality of the goods was hardly worth all that. She thought it was the stone he really wanted-the stones of this fortress had power, maybe?

Damn scholars...Forrel didn't have time for this...So many bloody questions!

That's it.

Forrel pulled out his staff and pointed it at the scholars. That stopped them.

"If you want to learn so badly, why don't ya just go out and see it for yourself!? Stop asking me these bloody questions or you'll all be learning what it feels like to be assimilated by spirits!"

Seeing his chance, he ran out of the room. Need to do something too important for the scholars to distract him...Ah the caravan!

Forrel rushed to the caravan and found his elven warrior companion trying to trade. He approached and said:

"Wait! Stop that deal!"

"I'm sorry messere but this elf is no trader. All trading will continue with me, yes?"

Forrel snatched the stone and felt it's value...(trait and all)

Stop the trade and take over for Veranus. Snatch the stone and see it's worth and material.

((For later.Forrel, with the spirits aid, will dig out a pit in the ground. He will then expand the pit and cover the top with a roof of grass. Inside the pit he'll make himself a house and the only entrance is blocked by dirt and stone and can only be entered by a shaman.))

Brier raised his goggles and paused his designing, heading over to the now open forge. He picked up the weave cracker and began exploring, taking note of the stock. When he had finished, he began moving his belongings into the new area, placing the weave cracker on the last door of the kitchen while he was there. After that, he did some work on his new design before heading to sleep.

I forgot that The Fool wouldn't be able to post anything, whoops. Anyway, you didn't really need to change your action Mice. It's more sane, but the merchant leader was only going to be used as an emergency measure in case Dwarmin couldn't get lucky with Random.org.
I'll still go through with it, I just wanted you to know your original would have been fine if you had made it sound less insane.

I'll get the turn up sooner or later your guys, I'm also going to update your inventories.

    Brier
Not hearing the Weave Cracker anymore, Brier goes to the door he placed it on and collects it. The door cracks open, and an extravagant workshop is revealed. It has plenty of shelf space, a few beds, and most importantly all the tools an all-purpose workshop has. Whoever had absolute control of this place before had no end of luck in receiving such a treasure.
Brier drags all his possessions in the kitchen to the forge and notices a back area separated from the workshop by a few large curtains. Stepping into the small area, Brier notices a door that seems to have much higher security. A new Weave Cracker will be needed to open this, the current model is just too wasteful.
Having already passed out from exhaustion, Brier decides against pressing his luck and falls asleep in the bed he's most comfortable in. Brier dreams of his home fortress tonight.
    Veranus Tigerclaw
Finishing the deal and pocketing the coin, a representative chosen by Veranus is sent to secretly place everyone's fair share in their possessions. Save for a few merchants, the entire caravan seems to shut down. Not that it matters.
Having no further work to do, Veranus goes to sleep. She dreams of a small, open valley in the forest of her homelands. A stone her queen had called The History was there, and monsters wouldn't dare approach it. There were no nightmares tonight. Only a peaceful dream of The History.
    Forrel de Yahmiz
By the time Forrel escapes the scholars, the caravans are already closed for business. Only a few lingering merchants remain. The merchant leader sits down with the dejected Forrel. Having recognized him from a time spent in the physical realm, the two have a light conversation about the markets in the mana realm. He offers to take Forrel with him on a small journey through the main continent if he wants.
After asking for time to think about it, Forrel finally manages to ask to inspect the stone. It's mineral rich, but just as was said, the real worth is that it's collecting mana at a fast rate thanks to being shaped through magic. It's truly a wonder that things like this can exist so much more easily in this realm. A small spirit attaches itself to one of the accessories, and Forrel leaves the courtyard to sleep in the barracks again. Perhaps he'll build a home tomorrow, if he doesn't leave with the merchants.
    Cicatrix Greywood Greenflower
Cicatrix gets to the courtyard as they seem to be packing up. A few of the merchants remain outside of the carriages, so Cicatrix takes advantage now before she goes to the shrine again. She manages to convince two of the merchants to escort her tomorrow for a bit of coin. She called the shrine a "small hamlet" and the path a "gentle slope." The fact that they were so easily swayed worried Cicatrix more than the fact that she'd be offering them as sacrifices, but it's a passing thought.
Her insect scouts return with the map which is memorized as a path to walk specifically with her sensing, and checks on the egg production of the current generation of queens. They show no signs of producing any more eggs, but it's only been a few hours since they could even be considered egg producers, so it's unsurprising.
Veranus goes to sleep dreaming of a wild battlefield of gnolls and goblins. They're fighting over a stone with strange markings in a forest she had never seen. A shapeless figure is watching over the war, and is holding a weapon of some sort.
    Ba'gandi Kashi
Ba notices the workshop is open, and drags his pile of wood in. The deep elf inventor has already made himself at home, so he puts the wood in a neat pile by the inventor's. Having no further desire to continue working for the day, Ba goes to sleep.
His dreams are plagued by a battle between two forces of unimaginable power. A rare dragon halfling and a human who resembles the mercenary leader are clashing. The halfling stops the merc lookalike's massive blade. In fact, Ba could swear the sword in the dream is five times larger than the real merc leader's. It looks like this fight is taking place in an ancient civilization.
An old tale in Ba's tribe comes to mind as he continues his lucid dream of the battle. Two ancient heroes clash, the world is torn apart, and a new world rises from the aftermath. Ba has no idea why he should care though, so he just enjoys the fight.

Brier used the new resources of the workshop to build a new weave cracker from the ground up that incorporated simplicity, efficiency and durability. While he did this, the prototype weave cracker was at work opening the final room in the kitchen, which hopefully had food in it.

Ba went into the workshop in an attempt to find a whetstone for his axe. After he'll try and find the mercenary to find out about who he is and where he is going. If he can't find Cyrano he'll seek out Greywood to see what she thought of the shrine.

Forrel wakes up and decides that he should go with the merchants. He could learn a lot out there. Take some nature spirits along and ask if anyone else wants to come.

Cicatrix wakes up early and encounters Ba. "That alter... is a powerful source of death energy Gnoll. But it is wild and untamed. One touch consumed me and knocked me out cold. If I can learn to work with, control, or even serve the force behind it... Lets just say it would be wonderful."

She smirks. "I think what the alter needs is a good blood offering. I got some of those merchants to accompany me to the shrine. I can tell how much you just love merchants. Care to go ahead of me and help me strike them do- err... introduce them to the alter? It would be much appreciated dearie."

Action: If Ba agrees to lie in wait for the merchants near the alter, lead the merchants to the alter and offer them up. Take the undead with me. If Ba gets cold feet, tell the merchants I'll go in the afternoon; then see if Ba and/or Cy want to go out and help me gather plants. Comunicate with them to find the edible/useful ones. Use nature magic to weave plant matter into backpacks for the undead to haul stuff in.

Veranus was still thinking of her strange dream when she awoke that morning, and went to see the merchants...

Veranus goes to buy a better spear with her money-she also finds what else they are selling-and afterwards goes hunting for small game in the fields for supper.

"I'd be more than happy to help with that." Ba smiles. "Now I really need to sharpen my axe. I hope they put up a fight instead of their usual running. Its been a while since I had a good fight."

Cicatrix nods. "It's going to be you, three undead, and a supporting mage against two merchants. I don't think there will be too much of a fight. Try to just disable them... if possible I would like to snuff out their lives in accordance to the proper rituals. That said, don't try too hard to take them alive, I can work with corpses if corpses are what you get me."

Lady Greenflower turns and heads back to her room. "Come and get me when your axe is ready. I'll give you a headstart so you don't have to walk with the merchants. Don't touch the alter while you wait."

Action Revised: While I wait for Ba to prepare his axe, mutate the drones to produce silk. Once Ba is ready give him a 5 minute head-start and then get the merchants. Once the fun begins let the Golems and Ba do the fighting; get to a safe distance and cast dark magic debuffs such as fear or confusion on the merchants. Once the merchants are dead or disabled sacrifice them to the alter to the best of my ability.

    Brier
Waking up, Brier is shocked that he is no longer in the kitchen. Feeling a bit groggy, he goes over the resources in the workshop. There's plenty of space used for storing materials to be used, such as wood groves, stone pits, boxes for metals and gems, the only problem is that there aren't many materials to work with. The only real resources other than what was brought is a bit of iron and silver that couldn't even fill the whole of the bottom of the smallest metal/gem box.
Regardless, this is what Brier would have to work with for the new Weave Cracker, so he'd just have to deal with it. Before he forgets, Brier puts the Weave Cracker v1 to work on the final storage in the kitchen. Speaking of which, there are two animal carcasses in the cold room, perhaps he should start prepping those for meals soon.
Getting back on task, Brier takes his time working on the design, and eventually reaches something that could work. Feeling that there's no real time to spare, Brier immediately puts the design to production. The treasure wood he doubts he'll see again soon is key. It can absorb mana easily and is water and fire resistant, so he can't waste any of it. Brier quickly separates what he'll allow himself from the pile, gathers some of the silver and iron, and begins working.
The first hour yields no results, but that's not enough to stop the inventor from working. The next few hours yield almost no hope, but in the final stretch of the design's construction, Brier pulls through and creates what he considers to be a masterpiece of magical security cracking. At least to the extent his design would allow. He makes sure nothing is out of place, and quickly makes sure it won't fall apart by knocking on points that seemed weak. Nothing breaks.
The new design is smaller, self powering, and doesn't require many materials to make. It has more complex parts and mechanics, but it's easier to maintain than the block of wood and scrap metal the machine used to be. It's also much quieter, giving peace to the elf. Proud of his work, Brier places it on the door in the back and eats a ration. He estimates it should be done by tomorrow morning.
    Veranus Tigerclaw
Veranus wakes up, and the sudden realization that she had been eating her rations without much regard for intake hits her. She's going to have to hunt for game to survive now, and cooking is going to have to be done. How terrible a wandering mind can be sometimes. Heading off to the merchants to buy a new spear, Veranus notices that the hides she placed out to tan have finished, and quickly drags them back to her statue before someone else decided to take them.
Back at her original goal, Veranus greets the merchant leader and asks for a new spear within her price range. The man she has found to be quite humble despite his looks brings out a small collection of spears that all seem fairly well made and kept. Nothing in particular catches her eyes, but a spear she finds adequate for the job is decided upon. It costs a hefty 2g5s(250), but it's not as though she can't afford it. She thinks. Money management was never her ideal work, but there shouldn't be a problem with how much she has left.
Having finally found a spear of good enough quality, Veranus puts her old spear in the newly opened room the elf who occupied the kitchen was now using. She leaves for the forest and begins the hunt. For a while, nothing but large game Veranus had no intention of hunting appeared, but eventually a small mammal of some sort comes out. She jumps down and snaps its neck, not wanting to use a spear on an animal that could barely make a meal. As more show up, the huntress begins racking up a nice count, and has enough small mammals to last at least three days. The only problem is preparing them... Details, details.
As Veranus begins her return to the castle with her hunt in tow, a large beast pops out. She had seen beasts like these in her village in the physical realm, but never as large as this one. They were called ligers by merchants who passed through.
The liger is much larger than the two beasts she had hunted the other day, and she was in no position to fight with her spear not prepared, and her hunt weighing her down. As she begins her attempt to flee, she feels a pulse. The forest tells her to fight. Her body begins to burn with mana, an anomaly she had experienced in the physical realm twice. Once when she had killed the titans who had captured her, and again when she was traveling through the cave. Before she can recall what happened during those time, her vision goes black, and Veranus falls unconscious.
The elf awakes to the sight of the beast torn apart, and strewn throughout the forest. Not knowing what happened, she quickly gathers her belongings and returns to the castle in a state of shock. As she returns, she notes that the spear seems to have gained the Forest's Blessings. This was the first time she had seen one on a weapon outside of her village. Regardless, she throws the hunt into the area the inventor person showed her to, and goes back to her statue to rest a bit before doing anything else.
    Forrel de Yahmiz
Forrel wakes up, and sees the merchant leader finishing a deal with Veranus. After waiting for the deal to end, he goes and informs the merchant leader that he'll go with him. He's told to be ready to leave by tomorrow morning, and that the excursion would last one week, at which point he will be returned to the castle, hopefully without being dead. He is also warned that if he ever strays from the group, death is a very real possibility, and a rescue attempt will only be made if it is known that he is safe. However, he will be given access to all wares to protect himself in case of an attack.
Having nothing more to do, Forrel spends the remainder of the morning gathering fruits and vegetables in the forest, and communicating with the spirits.
    Cicatrix Greywood Greenflower/Ba'gandi Kashi
After a small talk with each other, Ba decides to forgo talking with the mercenary leader to help sacrifice some accursed merchants, and Cicatrix decides that Ba will be a part of her company on her visit to Cyrano tomorrow. Ba quickly stops by the workshop, where the deep elf is already hard at work, and finds a whetstone. He gives a slow, happy sharpening to the axe, and goes off to the gathering spot he was told about.
While Ba is busy sharpening his axe, Cicatrix gives a quick mutation to her drones, and they quickly begin producing silk. Although, she senses that it might be a bit too much, she has no time to deal with this bother, and gives Ba'gandi the signal to go ahead. She waits a small time, and tells the merchants that she is ready to go. Lying to them earlier would have given a great deal of suspicion, so most of what she told them was true, and any inconsistencies were covered by her blindness.
After a while, Ba reaches the shrine, and waits. He still didn't like the area at all. The shrine seems more eerie than usual. Like it's amused at something. Before he has the chance to run, Cicatrix arrives with the prey. The hapless merchants step up to the shrine and pull out a pair of swords. To Ba, the shrine appears to be smiling at the two, as though it knew something.
Having already prepared for the merchants only being out for the money, the two Runners begin their attack. The three zombie slaves rush the two merchants, who are better combatants than one would think. However, it's more likely that the corpse golems are simply morons that need to be exchanged for something better or upgraded somehow.
Ba enters the fight with his axe, the large instrument of death swinging quickly, claiming both legs of one of the merchants. Blood spills, and all goes quiet. Cicatrix orders the golems to retreat. When Ba fights, he can call upon an unholy rage that thrusts him into a mode of combat stealing control from him. This rage and his unwillingness to retreat were why he was called the Berserker.
He begins his assault on the second merchant. It lasts only a few seconds, but after the fight had ended, the merchants looked like nothing more than a bloody sack of potatoes. Something comes out of the shrine as Ba finishes off the first merchant.
It is a pale white humanoid with no real features. No face, no clothing, nothing. In one of its hands is a long, thin strip of a black metal with another, shorter piece of similar thinness crossed into it like a scythe. The figure absorbs the two merchant carcasses and walks up to Cicatrix who, like last time, can see again. The figure simply looks down at Cicatrix, then vanishes into thin air. Her sight is lost again, but the two at least know that there's something in the shrine. Ba also got to fight again after so long, so they both suppose the trip was worth it.
Cicatrix feels like she can call the being out of the shrine, but nothing more.

Ba stood facing the alter with his axe drawn, waiting for the creature to try and strike him down. "What was that!? It was like a human that had no face, no features at all... and that scythe. Have you ever heard of such a creature?" Ba now knew why he was so uncertain of the shrine. He wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to come back, but if Greywood wanted he would.

Brier headed back to the kitchen and began to prepare the animals for eating. He checked the third door first, hoping that there was actually something useful inside.
