OOC: Well Micelus made a big semi-molten rock in the middle of nowhere and I launched some crystals and elementals at it, but It's going to need to be a lot bigger and more... world-like.

OOC: If you guys want I can start typing up the world creation bit for next turn, and you can post specific things you want though it may take me awhile to perfect it (And I may need someone to grammar check it. English isn't my best subject (Neither is Driver's Ed, but that another subject))

OOC: Meh, nothing really but I want that chunk of rock to be floating above the rest of the world...Think of it as a godly deathstar/paradise.

OOC: If my twisting maze-like caves could connect the dominion of the gods with the mortal world, it would be neat.  8)

OOC: That was what I was planning with something like Yggdrasil, the World Tree connecting the mortal realm, and the realm of the gods.

World trees seem overused to me...How about a fossilised world tree that has a tunnel network of caves and tunnels that eventually leads to Haven?

Well the one in the mortal plane wouldn't be a physical tree instead it would be a massive tower, surrounded by a huge labyrinth, so that only those strong, and smart enough to fight/think their way through can succeed. Then in the Syreth its base would be a stone tree with it finally forming an actual tree as it pierced the mountains above the Cave system.

OOC:I can't think of a good arguement on why that would suck (besides the chance of it being sieged) but I don't like the idea...But I think we need to wait for more opinions before we decide on the entrance to the mortal world.

Even entire armies couldn't make it through as many would die of starvation from getting lost in the maze, and many more would die to the beats that inhabit it, but I agree lets wait for others.

(How about simply a mountain instead of a tree. You COULD have a 'Tree of life' on top of that mountain?)

OOC: I personally like the idea of the entrance to Syreth being at the bottom of the world. The cave system in the mortal plane going down rediculously far, and eventially connecting with the cave systems of Syreth. Sort of like the world being an upside down pyramid with the mortal plane on top and tunnels going all the way down to the bottom, with Syreth on the point.

OOC: I personally like the idea of the entrance to Syreth being at the bottom of the world. (This idea I like, I support it. Just keep in mind that somewhere within these cave lies a large ancient ruin, the lair of Hvisskar.)

You misunderstood; I mean simply breaking the labyrinth with siege weaponry and explosives or magic..There's a trope on this...Can't remember it's name.

(How about simply a mountain instead of a tree. You COULD have a 'Tree of life' on top of that mountain?)

That sound ok...How about this: A world tree on top of a huge mountain range. The tree's roots go through the whole mountain range. Within the mountain range are several tunnels.

The cave system in the mortal plane going down rediculously far, and eventially connecting with the cave systems of Syreth. That sound good too...None ever expects the heavens to be underground!

Do we need a poll?
