((You are still in the hospital, right?))

Silence continues to be the only response.


Schmutz was there, and offered me a cup of tanna. I took it gratefully, and he turned to the captain and offered him the same.

[Telgin]

Falcata moans incoherently as Toltot carries her into the hospital.  The moan is punctuated by a sharp cry as somepony hoists her onto an available bed, twisting her broken leg.

[Dsarker]

I turned as the pony that had just been brought in cried out, and I walked over to her.

[Impending Doom]

((Yes. And a trip over to the Lexicanum enlightened me to the issue.))

'Oh, come on! Rakel isn't even-'

Then Starkey notices Schmutz offering him a drink of... something. He takes it, taking a tentative sip.

'Ah, okay, I forgot about him.'

He takes his drink and sits in the farthest corner from the pair.

'There. is that better?'

[Telgin]

Falcata fights through the pain and delerium for a moment as the commissar approaches her.  She sucks in another breath and says,"C-commissar?  Is that you?"

[Dsarker]

"Yes, it's me. How are you doing, soldier?" I said, in as kindly a tone as I could manage, still shook up from the madmare.

I told you to STAY AWAY FROM THAT THING.

[Impending Doom]

'I thought you were talking about Rakel! Now did you hear anything I said before, or do I have to repeat myself?'

[Telgin]

She chokes back another retch and clenches her teeth.  Finally, she says,"N-not well... s-sir.  I-I don't th-think I'll be a... able to make it to my p-post today."

[Dsarker]

She has been corrupted like nothing you can possibly imagine. It is probably more torturous to her to be tied up than stabbing her with a knife. She would probably enjoy that.

"Well then," I said, trying my best to stay cheerful in tone. "Just do what you can to get better, okay?"

[Impending Doom]

'Lovely. Now how do we fix it?'

[Telgin]

"Y-yes, sir."  She wipes some bloody bile from her lip and swallows back yet another retch.  "Th-thank you, sir, I wi-ill."

[Dsarker]

Fix it? Well, simplest way would be a bolt to the head.

"Good to hear, soldier."

[Impending Doom]

'Is there a 'hard way'? Preferrably one that leaves her alive, whole, and reasonably sane?'

[Telgin]

She clenches her teeth and suppresses a shriek into a muffled whimper as she adjusts her position to relieve the pressure on her stomach and leg.

"I-I brought... the stone... y-you asked for, s-sir."

She motions vaguely in the direction of the pulverized wall far away.  "It's... it's at..." she trails off.

[Dsarker]

Destroying and recreating her entire personality?

"Good job, soldier. You just stay here and rest, okay?"
