>Mimi: Put the terrified salamander down.

"Yeah, alright. I'm Mimi, as you probably know. This is Emily." She points to Emily who is obviously dumbfounded. "I'm guessing CA somehow caused your meteor to break up and you to land here?"
"That pretty damn well covers |t. Oh, and TE went batsh|t |nsane, but he's somewhere else now so that's not really a pressing |ssue unless one of your friends starts yell|ng about a crazed extraterrestr|al trying to r|p out the|r lungs. Now as for the more |mportant quest|on, how the sh|t am | gonna get out of here?"

Gotham's mysteriously high mental illness rate isn't so mysterious when you find out Batman thinks subduing a guy means spiking his head into the pavement like a football.

Friendship. Toss.

You whip Mikhael down the stairs in the friendliest way possible. If those underlings want to get at him, they'll have to go through you first.

Mikhael makes his saving throw this round. He is currently at -12 hit points, and has failed no saves.

The bondage imp moves forward and grabs at you, and though you don't allow it to restrain you (You can only imagine with horror what would happen then), your efforts to escape result in 6 damage.

The sword imp attacks as well, slicing at your arm. You take another 6 damage.

>Mikheal: Wake up, but be too paralyzed by pain to move at all.

No, no, you don't think you can handle this just now. Too many tooth holes in your mid-section for that.

>Mikheal: Spend rest of the Strife in extreme pain and in a near death state.

Oh, you have this one down pat.

Achieve the power of the SUPER SAYIAN. or just double attack.

[9,10]+11=30

[6,5]+11=22

Your bald, midget best friend hasn't been exploded by a space tyrant, so you just double attack instead, dispatching both imps before you.

The remaining bondage imp is beginning to think attacking you is a poor decision, considering between you and Mikhael, he's the only imp left here.

Mikhael is still losing blood, and slips into shock. He has -12 hit points, and has failed one of the three fortitude saves.

The basilisk is as confident as ever though, and approaches you, gnashing its teeth. Despite your lousy footing on the stairs, you dodge its attack as it tries to bite you.

> Claire: Shift left, then spam attack basilisk.
Regular: [3,2 + 11] = 16
Scorpion's Strike: [10, 4 + 11] = 25

You move to the left and attack the basilisk. Your first attack is dodged, but it was really just a set-up for your second strike, which- Goes straight through. The basilisk laughs in that asshole way that only ghosts do.

The last imp scoots south and attacks Claire. Your arm is now sporting a nasty burn. At least your jacket held up. You take 6 damage.

>Steve: Shift up-left and spin around with Reaping Justice

[10,7+9] = 26 v. Reflex
[9,2+9] = 20 v. Reflex
[/quote]

I hate to delay things like this, but the ghost basilisk is now immaterial for the rest of the round, and the imp moved. So, re-designate your action please.

I'll wait on applesauce before we move.

Challenge accepted, but posting now. I'll be reading.

Go with the brutal affront there, bro.

And if you fail it, know that I will automatically succeed at mine and smack this thing's face off because Heir powers. Or maybe not, lemme go reread the rules for Fortune-Favored.

You're assuming CA is competent enough to do that.

That is a very large assumption.

Just saying.

The best part is the implication that TB has been burned at the stake before.

Yeah, are you gonna go for it? I think you know you'll miss otherwise.

Or.

But yeah. I'll go for it.
