Once we effortlessly captured Constantinople - only to discover that there are no entertainment areas downtown - we focused on the game once again. The terribly governed Manuretinople gave us almost 30 grand.
Our money situation was further strengthened with the capture of ex-Sarmatian capital. Later Hunic capital. Now Hunic capital is somewhere further in the wastelands. Their crops surely prosper in there.
We hit end turn, to see what will happen. Will all the enemies unconditionally surrender?
Hmm.. Right.
An all cav army attacking stronger forces made of mostly spearmen and heavy infantry that toss even heavier javelins.. A stronger force that also has higher ground..
WHY did WRE fall before ERE? Did we adopt these retards?
You see this, Sunny Jim? What do you have to say now?!
What? Don't escape! You can win here! Come closer!
Winter has passed, it is now summer. Well.. in the civilized parts of the world anyway. In the horde lands it's still cold as balls. Which leads us to General Big Balls, that is still assembling mercenaries along with his protege : Captain Cojones.
While our hostile, frozen wasteland campaign is stuck for a turn or two, the hostile, scorching wasteland one is moving forward. General Goldsack, the mercenary master, is sieging another meaningless ERE city.
Those peasants are surely going to stop us.. cough cough..
Another turn has ended (we run through these, do we not? Don't worry, at the end of this update you will see why i'm avoiding showing army movement. To build up the atmosphere!)
We see that ERE can not even hold their 10 provinces from rebelling.
We also see that one of the factions is richer than us.. It will change soon, as we are spending ALL of our cash constantly.. But who migh-- Burgrundii..? You mean the tribe that has one general and three peasants, that we are sieging for 15 turns?
Touche!
Lastly, we see that our General-recruiting facility (called Rome) has dished out another one. Also : We now have naval superiority.
Time to see some of our army movement.. Thessalonica is sieged by one of our armies. It seems that the spy has opened the way for us.. But i am not going inside. They have ballsy walls and more archers and heavy infantry that i consider healthy.
I'm going to starve them for two turns or so.
Next, i move Big Balls towards the Hunic newest capital, and Dickus the Crucifix is heading north.
Lastly, i reinforce the army that is sieging Ostrogoths with four useless units of uselessness. The general idea behind this group is having peasants in front of archers when fighting against enemy horse archers. As shields. This way we will minimize archer loses! Now somebody has to explain the plan to the peasants..
We end the turn.
