In my experience the entire Nuclear Club tends to react with violence when I nuke anyone. Not necessarily violence directed at me, but violence all the same.

Too bad they didn't add Vatican City as one of the countries for Shadow President.

Because it isn't really a country so to speak (its complicated)

If you attacked it you would also be attacking the surrounding country.

I know it is in the middle of Rome, but it is still sovereign plus several US territories get their own territory on the map.

I fail to see how this is a point. This is a game during the cold war where you're playing the US. Of course all the US territories are going to be represented. Vatican City would only be important if the Pope was included in the game, but sadly he isn't. Having Pope John Paul the Second in the game would have been awesome.

EDIT: Stupid space key.

Yeah, that is too bad. It might have been interesting to send in US troops into Vatican City to place Pope John Paul the Second under arrest. Though the Italians might actually try to stop me. As for US territories being represented, maybe they should have made Hawaii and Alaska each be represented. For one, Alaska could be used as a staging area for launching a conventional attack on the USSR. As for Hawaii, they could be linked to both Japan and the continental United States.

Italians would talk about stopping you and secretly rejoice on the news

But you cannot really win against a non physical entity, Pope is a concept. A lot were killed and nothing really changed

I'd like to see a Shadow President-like game, but right after WWI. With the kind of madness that goes on with the AI, we may see the Kingdom of Hawaii conquer the whole planet, which would be hilarious.

I think I started a nuclear war. Resource wars game, not even 100 days in I storm Mexico and stomp them into the dust. The Soviets had some men in there. After I took it, they NUKE MEXICO. I invaded with all my forces and then set up several surgical strikes, Japan also put 240,000 men into the war. As the battles are raging, India and China NUKE THE SOVIET UNION. I'll update later.

QUICKEDIT: SU returned fire with nukes against China and India.

EDIT2: After a few rounds of nuclear fire between those 3, my side SURRENDERS FOR NO GODDAMN REASON. I start the war again and take Japan in to help again. Bad idea. We won the war and THEY got the Soviet Union. Bastards!

I am slowly but surely brining the world into peace. My LER is suffering though... What's the best way to raise it? Just Bomb-bomb-bomb-bomb-ba-bomb, bomb-bomb-bomb-bomb Saddam?

It's as free as any other 9-year-old game.  As in, you can find it if you want it, and it's unlikely anyone is gonna care.

Fixed that for you. Time sure flies, doesn't it? Also, Corai, please go and download it-  the publisher (And the developer- both) has been out of business for years. So you're not hurting anyone, and you strengthen the case for this being allowed (possession, as they say, is 9/10 of the law).

Oh, yeah, oops.  But yeah, this game screams "abandonware".  I sort of think that it has even been released for free in one form or another, but I don't remember the specifics.
