Okay. So, note that the US is supposed to be a bastion of freedom and goodness as I say these things:

We're treacherous.
We're a police state.
We attack people a LOT, but don't go to actual war.

I think it's desire to increase power.

Not sure what effects it has on the human country, but for AIs it seems like ambitious ones tend to... well... be more ambitious.

Ambition reflects a desire to expand and dominate. If a nation has really high ambition, like Iraq does at the beginning of the game, they're gearing up for war. With the human player, it might affect how much the public approves of entering war.

By the way, AoD, can we get a screenshot of the Ambition Filter, and any others you think are important?
