I just stationed 5000 troops in Israel. It's not enough to kill Iraq, but it may hold them off long enough for a counter attack to take place.

The rest of the world probably wouldn't see that number of troops as defensive. I can see 20,000, but any more is more than  bit too much to justify.

Now funding Isreal's military and/or funding Iranian militants... Go nuts.

US ally South Korea, really isn't friendly to US?  Or did I miss a bit of the LP?

Are you positive there aren't already US troops in South Korea?  I thought the game started with a fair amount there already, just like IRL deployments...
