Noraiah leapt up in glee, jumping off the rock wall as she heard the joyous sound of water. Oh, how Mother and Father would-

Oh right, they're asleep...Don't think I should wake them up, and they don't mind me going off again...

With a happy expression, she silently moved along the cave wall, trying to get nearer to the water source.

I never knew we had a lake.
You try to get nearer to the waterfall. But the rock drops off steeply just barely into the room, so you're as close as you can get. And apparently it's not a lake: The water falls down far further than you can even see in this low light.

Merysta craned her neck toward Tale to get a better look at him, then shrugged and headed toward the building. "Thanks," she said over her shoulder as she walked away. When she got to the door of the building, she knocked as well as she could while still holding the Thing. There it goes again! I hadn't thought about it in a while... almost forgot I had it. She sat on her haunches, tail swishing slightly, and waited for someone to open the door so she could shove the Thing in their face and ask them what it was.

Merysta knocks on the door of the Mage's Guild and accosts the person who opens it for answers about the Thing. All the information s/he can give.
You knock on the front door and bug the person who opens it about what this Thing is. [Mage Int:2+1]: He seems stumped and shrugs.

Someone else passes by and you bug them too. [Mage2 Int:6+1]: She says it's not magical, so chances are no mage will know what it is.

Hmm...

Anthramarux made a bored sound. How could Humans just sit in silence like this!

She decided to talk to the woman in metal armor next.

"Hello. You probably remember me, Becky Blackstone. What brings you on this trip? You don't seem like a soldier from around here..." She said, smiling.
She responds apathetically. "I'm a mercenary from the Golden Company, I was just finishing off a bandit kill contract. And I can't say I recall ever seeing you."

To the side, you hear the male and female villagers talk to another, smiling. "I'm so glad Dal gave us some extra cash. I was dying to get some Soco bread." The woman says.

"My guess is it's because of that Orin Wine. His hint that he wanted some more wasn't exactly subtle." The man says, chuckling.

The man with a large box interjects himself into the conversation. "Orin Wine? I'd recommend Cale Dam Wine instead if you can pay for it. The stuff's great."

Cornos scoffs at the man with the box. "Cale Dam Wine? Yeesh, I can understand drinking a little wine once and a while, but Cale Dam Wine way too intoxicating to be a good wine." He says, before returning to reading his book.

Kin felt overwhelmed by the amount of information that he had his attention slipping a few times, but he felt it being fair. "I accept the rules and I will make it happen."

Taking in the position of the sun Kin felt he knew which way was north. Preparing himself for a takeoff a fleeting thought crossed his mind: "I wonder what boars taste like?" before flying low to Girring.
You take off north, towards Girring. You eventually find it and land in the farms, near a bunch of farmers. "Woah!" A female farmer exclaims as she jumps back slightly, surprised at your arrival.

Also, I won't be able to will have a harder time to do a proper action within a three-day limit now that our family is renovating the house for the next five - ten days. Just so you know if there is no action from me under this time.
I kinda dropped off the 3-day limit, so you don't need to worry too much.

Merysta was quite disappointed. "Who might know what it is, then?" she asked the more knowledgeable of the two mages. (For complete clarity, Mage2/the one who rolled 6+1.)

Noraiah craned her neck to gaze down the vast expanse that was waterfall. She could feel tiny, miniscule droplets hit her snout, and see the endless stream disappear into the darkness. Sadly, there was no mist that could refreshen her spirits and she didn't think she could fly into the water -- it looked pretty much like rock in the light.

Knowing this, she moved back and nudged Father's body with her snout. Hoping to ask him of her find.

She shrugs. "I don't know."

[Int:4]: You're sure mother told you of two kinds of people who might know what it is, before you left your cave. Mages and some other kind of people. Hmm, what was the other kind again...?

You go back to father and nudge him, waking him up. You inform father of your find.

"...Noraiah, what are you doing up? I thought you went to sleep?"

Err...

"Well... where are all the priests?" Merysta asked.

"Well... where are all the priests?" Merysta asked.
"In their respective temples and shrines. Just look for them. Unless you're blind, there's no way you could miss them all."

"...I don't know what a temple looks like. Can't you just tell me where they are?" Merysta said pleadingly, trying the puppy-dog eyes on the mage.

Eeep~

"I woke up..earlier? There was this dream I had- of flying and things, then I heard the water near the walls and decided to check it out."
Noraiah said, partly disappointed in herself, and partly afraid of what her 'Father' might do, despite her not knowing if that was truly her Father or not.

She left out the trip to the humanoids and the additional one to the lake, due to the situation.

Erm, yes.

Not exactly. It's just that I haven't decided to start working on the main turn yet.

Out of curiosity, why does it matter to you anyway? It's not like your action is waiting on it... In fact, I don't believe anybody's actions are waiting on it.

She thumbs without looking to the left of you.

Two buildings away, there's a building larger than most with various statues in the front. You recall various buildings like this one while coming up.

"That's what a temple looks like. Shrines are smaller, but the look should generally be the same."

Erm, yes.
"...You, a dragon, woke up due to a dream of flying things?" He says, in a way that sounds like he's just on the verge of not believing that at all.

"Thanks!" Merysta padded off to the shrine to find a priest - any priest - and accost them with the same questions about the Thing that she asked the mages.

Noraiah lowered her head and looked down in worry. She didn't want to anger Father...

"I meant flying. I dreamt I was flying, and other things related to it...like the scenery and all. But I saw another thing -- you called it a bird, right? Yep, that.

"I...didn't know I could fly, but I can, now."
she said, looking at the rock formations nearby as she couldn't bear to see Father's eyes.

Okay, finally back from shooting aliens and being shot by them. Oh, and being screwed over by the RNG. Anyway! Last miniturn.

"Thanks!" Merysta padded off to the shrine to find a priest - any priest - and accost them with the same questions about the Thing that she asked the mages.
You head off to the *cough*temple*cough* and accost priests in grey robes about the Thing.

They don't provide any more insight, but they do say that you'll have to ask someone who knows more than them or the mages.

Danm it, it didnt go through. And I wrote a wall of text, too.

You attempt to chew the head off, until you reach the spine. That might be a problem. [Str:6] No it isn't. Your teeth certainly don't agree with how you're treating them, but the severed head comes off the first attempt.

You then take it home. When you arrive home, your mother looks at you with a faint sense of horror. "Uapair... what..."

Noraiah lowered her head and looked down in worry. She didn't want to anger Father...

"I meant flying. I dreamt I was flying, and other things related to it...like the scenery and all. But I saw another thing -- you called it a bird, right? Yep, that.

((Ah damn it, I wrote it wrong. I meant "due to a dream of you flying". Or at least I think I did))

"I... er, I meant due to a dream of you flying. I find it hard to believe you would wake up from that. I'd figure it would be a natural feeling."
