N..o I didnt? You redirected yourself to Shola after it was pointed out that you'd have no reason to approach the Dragon Empire and offer your services.

Which I only did because Taric was raising a fuss about it. ::) (And you didn't object, so I figured there was no interest on your part and therefore no reason to pursue that line.) IC considering I need/want money I had every reason to approach the DE general...

If you'd have approached me, I'd have hired you. Likely for better pay than you're getting. But Taricus had a good reason for raising a fuss, you had no real reason to join me.

Hey Dwarmin, you'd need 4 ducats for the lumber mill...

Read that wrong.

All right, so I started with 1 ducat, made 4 in the year, and got a half ducat from the Queen-and I'm spending 4 on the lumberyard and 1.5 on troops, which leaves me broke. Is that all right?

All right, I'll redo all my actions then...

Spending .5 now, leaving me with 1 Ducat-putting off the construction to spring.

Queen could give you some extra funds for the business next year, so you can have both the unit upgrades.

Well, she didn't offer to do so before.

Laythe blew Tala off without any hint of being able or willing to provide assistance, so that's the idea she's going with now.

Queen asked if Tala had the funds to hire a tactician regiment, then she should do so, and that was the extend of that part of the discussion. Tala assumes she's on her own, and she believes directly asking Laythe for money is hardly a way to endear herself to her Majesty.

Also, isn't Laythe pretty much broke herself anyway?

Sure Laythe is broke now. But the offer is for the new year, so that a cut of the profits can be demanded, over whatever taxes are placed.

Remember, queen likes honesty. Mind you, she would ask for a cut of the profits :P

And honesty in politics is either for those who have a death wish or are untouchable. And queen is far from being all-powerful monarch that she wants to be....
