SeriousConcentrate, the priests in Vale are Taloisists. Taloisism is the largest religion in the Storm Coast, and most people follow it. One would assume it would be dominant in Dalannor as well, although it doesn't have to be. Still, you would know of it, and its basic tenants.

You didn't specify... I assumed you meant your own because I have no idea how you'd manage to burn the royal library. And doing so would just antagonize Laythe further. Wouldn't it be better to just lay low for awhile and be out of sight, out of mind while gathering your forces?

Erm... I don't know where Kathos saw that, but the letters Avitus sent never talked about buying the land. It was a friendly but firm request of allegiance with a few compensations. I didn't say we were going to give them a single ducat from the royal treasure.

You promised a 75% tax exemption for one year. I said "1.5 ducat for nobles with one parcel, 3 for nobles with two parcels, 4.5 for nobles with three parcels". It's the same offer, but not said in the same way.

Now, should Kathos take the door the queen is offering him? I don't want to end up in the arena or the dungeons.
