I'm too curious to pass this up. This will be fun.

Hey guys, here's some basic mechanics I've been thinking about. Nothing is set in stone:

My memory derped out again and now I can't find the server. The session will be over soon anyway, right?

Was a great game. Completely crewed my night's rest. That's all a game needs to have :)

Looking forward to crafting, and I might do the journal, sounds like a fun way to keep the thread and interest alive.

Yeah the session was basically finished. Either way. I hope you all enjoyed it.

You may write a little journal or backstory here between sessions for some bonus exp if you like.

We meet again the same time on the 25th!

Ah, the power of crystals.

Just a thought, it will be easier for me to augment my body,  so long as the augmentations are crystalline. The others have to worry about blood, infection, rejection, and general decay of their cybernetics if they choose to have them. I'm a modular character!

Heya guys, I hope people are ready to play again on Thursday.

I need you guys to do me a favor, and write up a list of what items your character has on him. There's really no restrictions on what you have, but you need to have a reason for anything. This mostly will be clothing, armor, weapons, and traveling supplies etc. Nothing in this list will give you bonuses to your stats, so this is mostly just fluff, and a record of what all you have. I want to get away from having any PC pull items out of their asses, just as they need them.

Mage types need to also give me a spellbook and list all the spells they have in it. I think I will put the maximum here at 15, Just give me a name, and what sort of effect it should have. Remember that damage and such is all done in the system.

This notebook was meant to map the forest, but I guess it won't hurt to write a few notes on this situation. Keep a clear head, even if the air - and the people around me - are hazy at best.
The people. Let's start with the people. The real people. The knight seems like a regular knight to me, well-trained, equally well-armed, and - as far as I know - honorable. I don't recognize the emblems or colors on his armor and shield, though. The wizard is what I'd expect in a wizard. There's obviously a lot of power in him, but I think he's a bit overconfident, tries stuff that's beyond his grasp. It's a miracle he hasn't killed himself yet. Still, he's at least as good as the guild guys back home.
Then there's half an archeologist. I've seen men like him, but only twice, and both were jesters. He looks a bit different, as if his body was meant to be that high, and he isn't just an oddity. He's very comfortable with it, too, and he looks at us as if we're 'too high' rather than the other way round. Hasn't told me a lot about himself, but I know I'd rather have him at my side in a firefight.
On to the golem. Colored glass, jewels, or crystals, I didn't dare ask him. What an idea, giving a golem a sentient mind and free will. There are laws against that, at least where I come from, and I can see why. He made the wizard half glass. Maybe he means well, at least that's what he said, but he doesn't seem to grasp that the wizard doesn't want to become like him. None of us do, I think. Also, he was off searching the corpses of our enemies while we were still fighting. Either he's not very bright, or his mind was warped in some golemy way, or he's trying to sabotage us. Either way, I don't trust him watching my back. I'll have to tell the wizard that I want him to heal me if I ever need it, and stop the golem from doing so in any way possible.
On the bright side, I managed to take one of those crystals before that greedy golem got them all. Tomorrow, I'll try to shape it. I've seen the rich guys back home use a similar glass device, they call it a spyglass, would let me see much farther. Of course, everything will look reddish if I use that crystal, but it's worth a try. I wonder if my dagger is strong enough to chip it.
Oh, right, an inventory. I should make an inventory. Have to know what I can use, and what I'll need to replenish, so I don't get any nasty surprises.

Starting with weapons.
- 1 Bow, short, recurve.
- 12 Arrows, broadhead.
- 1 Dagger, steel.
And, as my master always thought me, my fists and feet are weapons as much as anything.

Next up, clothing.
- 1 Pair of Breeches, dark brown
- 1 Hose, dark green.
- 1 Shirt, dark brown
- 1 Gown, dark green
- 1 Cape, dark brown
- 2 shoes, leather
- 1 Belt, leather, has 4 pouches
- 1 Backpack, small, leather - filled with sand since our desert trip. Would bluecapeman mind if I pour it out here?

And there's some other stuff
- 2 Rations - strange, I don't really feel hungry. Should ask the wizard about it.
- 1 Poultice, with some medicinal herbs - should stop inflammation. I hope.
- 1 Notebook - obviously
- 2 Charcoals - to write in it
- 1 Tinderbox - has enough tinder for 4 or 5 fires still. finding some straw would help.
- 1 Crystal, red, shiny, and cracked.
