Hard to say how we will steal one without the GM give us some intro information. Are we together yet? Have we met? Are we at a port even? Maybe we are already aboard a ship at sea? Are we free, prisoners, slaves, unconscious, weak, alive, dancing, what... Need info before we can plan too much.

My general rule is that group funds should only be used for group stuff. Like a boat, or supplies to fix said boat(nails, rigging, rope, planks, maybe even an extra mast, sealing tar, etc), or food/drink, maybe stuff like cannons or ammo/poweder/cannonballs. Supplies that effect the group on the whole. Not expensive personal items like horses or boat-anchor-wrapped-around-torsos.

One of the snakemen racials is "Slither", so thats a no on that one Furtuka.

Edit: You could probably buy some custom lizard armor though.

yeah, I'd assume Naga, or something like the snakemen aliens from X-COM

I'd actually add the following snakeman only items to the equipment list. Prices up to GM.

Studded Leather Barding (for any quadrupeds or snake tailed creatures)
Scaled Iron Tailmail        (For snake-men)
Plated Steel Tailmail       (For snake-men)

hmm, I don't know about that. Adding specialized race equipment means that some races will be better off than others. I assume as a spider I have a large abdomen, would I get armor for that? Or one of the ant types with wings, would they get wing shielding?
