KaelGotDwarves mentioned slickdeals.net awhile ago in a thread, and I've become a bit fond of it. Takes a bit of effort to set up the way you want but it's great once it gets going. Sort of like a coupon site but it really covers just about any kind of sale, for just about anything you care to look for and you can configure it to notify you about specific items.

Also posting to keep an eye on this, because I've really been wanting something like this for quite awhile.

If you regularly need to sync stuff with a group, you could also use Subversion. It's a bit more involved then Google docs but it allows synchronization of any kind of document, for example we used it while working on a little 3D XNA game at our uni and it handled 3D models as well as the code files. If you're on windows, Tortoise is a useful SVN client with a built-in GUI. (if you're on windows, remember to never use two maps with the same name, where one has a capital letter and the other not. The SVN server is case sensitive but windows isn't so you'll get all kinds of errors)


Alternatively, if submitting and merging documents is too much work, you could also use dropbox, which has less features (no document merging and no forking for example, so you'll have to handle those things by hand), but it's also easier to use. I also use it regularely as a replacement for image uploading software as you can get links for stuff stored in the public part of your dropbox folder.
