Summary: Game is shit.

If you liked the others, you'll probably like it. There is nothing new in the gameplay, just a new UI.

sad to say it, but theres even less gameplay than the others. the much touted "open world free reign" part was just a bluff name for a team deathmatch scenario that lazily plops 5 or 6 ai opponents on a map with no mission other than to kill them. yeah..... sigh, I was hoping for the second coming of uplink.

Tried it, minus the payment, and as I expected it was 100% garbage, like everyone else has said. I was like, "ok" when they introduced the DOS and EMP, as I figured there'd be like 50 more and I could individually ugrade each one. I also assumed I was given the EMP for the tutorial only, because using an EMP to hack computers....What the fuck. So I move on to the next part.

Turns out that's all there is. If you bought it you're paying for 3 mini-games with no depth at all.

tl;dr game is trash don't buy.

What really REALLY gets on my nerve, he had the AUDACITY of putting 199 pre order players signed up, ONE SLOT LEFT, for like 4 months. He probably racked up some money on impulse buyers thinking that they woul dbe the "last beta tester whos AI would be personalized to them in the game."

I wish that mine never shows up, I feel so dirty.

Eh, don't worry about it.  Its not the first time a game looked awesome and turned out to be garbage and it certainly won't be the last time.

Lol Alex, I saw your post on their forums. True stuff.

I would be 100% with an Uplink copy & paste as long as there were some improvements made/new features added. One of the funnest games I've ever played.

yep, uplink was a WHOLE lot better. I am peeved as shit at this guy, as he contacted me last year trying to make a game with me, and wanted to CHARGE me 10k euros AND keep the rights to my story WOW.

Do *NOT* buy this, if you need a reason, try the many ones mentioned above. Gonna contact steam, try to get my money back.

The only reason the dev delayed the launch is to collect more pre-orders, even he probably noticed that the game is a POS.

Bloody fucking shit stain on indie gaming is what it is.

As mentioned, if one want's a game in this genre, buy Uplink. It's way better...

I'm still trying to think of a reason, it's my own fault... The guys&galls at steam might agree with me that it's a POS, but that's not a valid reason to revert the transfer

So, if I think of something and it works, I'll be sure to let you know. But probably not gonna happen. I just felt the need to add that to my post, it's just.. that bad
